OMG! There are gay journalists! They have an association! Must be a conspiracy! Give me a bloody break. Greek and Roman empires did not fall because they accepted homosexuality, they fell because their resources were stretched too thin to defend them from barbarian raids (amongst other contributing factors of course). Funny you should bring up the Ten Commandments. I think that we, as a society, do quite a good job of following these

I feel bitter about certain things and as far as I'm concerned it doesn't have any significant effect on me as a person. I feel much better despising my ex than forgiving for they way I got stabbed in the back, I'd be much more miserable if I did in fact forgive.

I'm 17% geek. "OK, so maybe you ain't a geek. You do, at least, show a bit of interest in the world around you. Either that, or you have enough of a sense of humor to pick some of the sillier answers on the test. Regardless, you're probably a pretty nifty, well-rounded person who gets along fine with people and can chat with just about anyone without fear of looking stupid or foolish or overly concerned with minutiae. God, I hate you."

Personality, for sure, but looks too. I'm like the boy who never grew up. Behaviour-wise, I could mix in with 16-18 year olds and you wouldn't tell me apart, I guess my age only surfaces in my writing and in experience that goes with it. Looks wise most people don't give me more than 21-22, being nearly 26 that's kind of reassuring that I'll still pass for a 20-something by the time I'm 35 ;)

"I agree, no one should have died. But I think that maybe, the fact that one of the US's premier athletes dying in service may send a message: war is bad. People die. He shouldn't have had to die, but he did, and maybe we can learn a lesson from it." Righto, because WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam simply did not provide enough learning material.

Can't give you any advice other than to try not to let it get to you. For what it's worth, I can relate, my ex keeps on popping back into my life at random intervals and shatters everything I spend weeks putting back together. You'll build up a resistance to it over time, whatever doesn't kill us can only make us stronger :)

You holding back? I don't think so. At least I haven't noticed any change in your "pattern" of posting articles or replies. Maybe subconsciously some things are stifled, but that happens to everyone. I don't know why it's getting to you, maybe because you weren't expecting it. Relax mate, it's all good.

I hated doing homework too, so for whatever it's worth, I can sympathise with both you and your daughter. I shudder to think that one day I'll have to try to convince my offspring(s) to do their homework. I think I'll let my future wife deal with that ;)

Come on Trin, don't leave... I'll miss you way too much, I'm usually good at writing what I feel, but somehow nothing comes to mind right now. Please stay, if only to read and comment. You can always take a break from writing, nothing has to be permanent. You know I'm a guy full of extremes, but even my brethen sometimes find the grey area :)
