Navy is more likely, just due to the whole Battle ship , Battle crusier , Carrier , and even Dreadnaught nomenclature, which are all nautical terms. Though if there's going to be a dispute, how 'bout TDNN, Trader Defense Naval Network.

Their specialty is economy, so who knows. Perhaps each capital ship has a broadcast center onboard, and that may be why they deplete enemy culture. Sure beats Picard saying "I am Captain Jean Luc Picard of the United Star Ship Enterprise..." back in one of the shows of the first or second season. It's like, United Star Ship? How lame.

As for the game though, the T in TDN most likely stands for Trader. The suggestion for Terran, or Terrestrial, or even Tellurian, would be more to the effect if the acronym were representative of Latin words, as the words translating from English "trader" do not start with a "T" in Latin.

I'm using photobucket, but if you ever leave your account inactive for too long, they delete everything. I had considered uploading to my facebook albums, but facebook tends to be ban-happy even about just adding too many friends in too short a time.
