[e digicons]8C[/e] I need a lot more Athena Class Capital Ships.
Banned for although that is part of the Red Green Show, the character of Red is not the relevant character.
Banned for not making a reference to the Red Green Show.
I rather play as TEC than as Advent, so I prefer massive fully upgraded fleets acting as a swarm to destroy every enemy in their way.
Wind resistance in space???
In low Earth orbit there is still some measure of the atmosphere. Not very much, but enough for the ISS to need to boost orbit periodically. However, when a spacecraft reenters or enters the atmosphere, there certainly is wind. The Earth's thick atmosphere breaks up asteroids via the resistance of gaseous phase molecules, able to be calculated by: force = 0.5
Oy, ... Anyhow, I still win.

Banned for an iteration of truncation along with the absence of capital letters for the acronym thereby produced.
Still wasteful. 4 milligrams. Too much.
Okay, well there's always redirecting asteroids to smash into planets.
Banned for truncation.
And a four MILLIGRAM mass of the antimatter variety of helium takes out an entire city and its surrounding area.
Yes, yes they are.
Why? Why are they caricatures? I rather that humanity finally got around to becoming a spacefaring civilization rather than sitting around doing nothing for the next few centuries. We can go out into space and build, and use the resources out there to continue building yet more. I wish we'd finally get around to doing more than fiddling around in low Earth orbit with every station made so far on
Banned for wtf effect.
Banned for a lack of general purpose vehicles.
Like caricatures of actual physically possible space stations?
Is that from a modification of SoaSE here?
It needs more space elevators.
Wrong thread, dude.
Perhaps, but why does it seem like everyone wants to derail it? Why not have it on topic, such as discussing the physics of wind resistance which increases by the square of the velocity?
Now, what would be really cool is to have a toroidal station with solar panels covering the surface area of the ring. Lighting for plants could probably be using LEDs to reduce the wasting of electricity, and with the centrifugal acceleration replacing gravity astronauts wouldn't have so much difficulty health-wise. If the hull has proper radiation shielding, then such a station could be an indefinite habitat so long as it remains in good repair.
