Seems Gamestop is dying
Gamestop is definitely in trouble . I really don't get their decisions. It's clear they're being led by suits, not people who understand gaming. I mean, their plan to fight off Best Buy and Wal-Mart is... to go into anoter space dominated by them? [e digicons]:|[/e] R

Looks like Gamestop purchasing Impulse has amounted to nothing for Gamestop in the end. I got this email on April 24th : Hello PC Downloads Customers! We're writing to you today because there are big changes coming to GameStop's PC Gaming area
It's crazy to see the character I created still used and updated in the game! [e digicons]:D[/e]
Thanks. I already have E:WoM, pre-ordered it. I even still have an unopened box. I guess I'll skip it then! More info welcome!
Are the scenarios between the three installments (Elemental: WoM, FE and FE:LH) the same? Do they follow each other? Are they worth it?
Does it include ALL the Fallen Enchantress content? What about the scenarios?
I'm still sure not sure what to think of this. I won't judge until I see the details. I thought Elemental was going to become the game it was supposed to be at released WITHOUT an expansion...
Isn't it gone in Vista 64?
I don't thin it will die but it's still pretty scary. A LOT of developers who made their beginning on the PC are shying away from it. I don't piracy hurts the MONEY but it sure does scare the publishers. Pirates may say they don't really hurt anyone's wallets directly but they sure are hurting the catalog though.
It got buggy after my first child. The problem with questing with the sovereign is the slowness of all units. I can't cast a spell on a city unless I'm close to it and going back isn't an optiob. Game just crashed now for no reason. It's why I said it's a labor of love. Brad admitted he was not impartial. I just wonder no one told him it wasn't ready. I've reloaded my game and now have a quest I cannot complete... I'm not interested in customizing, I want the default u
Sorry for the necropost but... I loaded the game today and this happened. Did not change anything at all. Deleted my Elemental folder in My Documents and it fixed it. Still, it's weird...
So... I've been waiting for the biggest stuff to get fixed before jumping in... So here's a jumble of my first impressions. Game can be INCREDIBLY fun. Yesterday, I should have studied but played from about 8PM to 2AM... DAMN YOU STARDOCK!! [e digicons]:S[/e] It is obviously a labor of love. [e digicons]:inlove:[/e] Maybe too much of one... All this fun is marred late game though where the game... started to crash did not updat
??? How? via e-mail?
By mail. A second copy, a second BOX [e digicons]o_O[/e] I now have 2 LE boxes. Stardock said to keep it to other people who got it so... that's what I'll do but I'm wondering about the rest.
I just got a second copy today [e digicons]:|[/e] [e digicons]:O[/e] [e digicons]o_O[/e] I just want to know if I can give the key of my first copy away to a friend. I won't do it if Stardock doesn't want me to. They've been so honest to their customers, I want to do the same. I'm also scared that in 1-2 months, I will be forced to enter my physical key to keep updating the game.
Yes, but is that 2nd key valid? Can it be given away? Is the plan for Stardock to wait for everyone to get their boxes then require to register the box key? I don't think Stardock would appreciate the key being given to potential customers, which is I've come here. Is Stardock okay with that?
Just got my Limited Edition box today (finally!! but... it's not as if I couldn't play). While unpacking, I got the CD case out to rip the soundtrack, I saw the reg code is not the same as the one I have in Impulse. My first thought was "YAY free copy for a friend!" but then... I thought I'd be honest with a company that has shown such honesty and candor to it's customers(including, most notably, myself) and ask on the forums. Will that key work? Is that an error?
I fully agree with this statement.
I fully agree with the agreement. Keep posting. Rock Paper Shotgun did NOT do their journalistic research. I'm happy most video game news website are not like this. Linking to a news post from 3 years before is ridiculous.
I doubt the boxed version is sold in Québec unless they added a french manual and box... Can't see it on Best Buy's website.
Lady Sculla NPC!

I really loved my half-orc paladin. Playing a stupid character with strong beliefs in good is pretty funny :) He would charge in each time he saw what he thought was evil. Think he was named Graam or something. There was also my friend who played the crazy mage who like to miniaturize stuff and put into bottles or just turn everything into pie
Amazing. A second building for Impulse! I think good judgment is the biggest betwen it and hard work. Luck also comes into as a factor.
