I thought I recognized that pangolin...
Thanks, Rosco
It's my job. I wish the measures weren't necessary, as I'm sure it's a great annoyance, but the world is too full of people willing to ruin someone else's life for the sake of a little cash. I am sorry for the delay, though, BunnyRabit, but you should be all set now.
Huh. You know... ...I think you might be right.
Yes, your order was flagged by our anti-fraud measures. When that happens, it has to be manually processed. Computers are good at spotting issues, but they're nowhere near perfect. I've manually processed your order, so you should be all set. You can retrieve your serial number from here: http://download.stardock.com/
Click on the 'gear' in the upper right corner of SDC's main window and select 'Settings'. At the bottom of the settings dialog you can set the install directory of your choice (File Locations).
That only changes the download location, not the install location. You'll want to turn off the silent install option in order to say where you want them installed.
Ah, what you're talking about is auto-arrange, not sorting. Right now, there's no way to turn that off inside of a fences, though it has been requested before. I'll add your name to the list (that sounds more ominous than it is).
If you right click on the fence title, under 'Sort Fence by' there is an option for 'None'. This will turn off the auto-sort, and let you rearrange the files as you see fit:
Personally I'm offended by your bias towards humans while there has yet to be a screenshot of a purple dinosaur amongst all the red dinosaur screenshots even though its a fact proven by the 2010 Census that purple dinosaurs make up the majority of imaginary dinosaur races.
Not to mention, they make the most delicious of beverages: </
Merry Christmas!
Yes, definitely contact with as many details as you can muster, including any serial numbers and email addresses involved. We should be able to straighten it out for you.
There's a breakdown of the additional features on the purchase page here: https://www.stardock.com/products/tiles/purchase.asp
Well, for one, Impulse was sold to Gamestop last year, so it's no longer used for Stardock software. Since then, we've released a few new apps, updated a couple old ones a little, and released a new version of Stardock Central (beta).

The list of games currently available directly from Stardock is: Demigod Elemental: War of Magic Elemental: Fallen Enchantress Beta GalCiv I: Ultimate* GalCiv II: Ultimate Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity Anything else would have to go through Impulse/Gamestop for now. *Not available through SDC
Also Rosco, how about the political machine?
This is still an Impulse only download right now.
As a side note, this will NOT affect your Impulse account. That's a separate thing, now, so you'll need to contact for that.
Nice... [e digicons][/e]
May be my fault not to unload WindowBlinds before starting Stardock Central?
This shouldn't be necessary. Perhaps the planets were in such an alignment at the time that it prevented it from working properly the first time. That's what I'm blaming it on, anyway. It's up and running now, though?
SFC scannow found some problems it couldn't fix but they seem unrelated.
My gut says this is part of it. Not saying DX 3.96 being a beta still with bugs wasn't a contributing factor, but if your SFC scans are unable to fix something, that's definitely in the 'bad things' column.
glad you figured it out. who knew it was that far in the source file chain. :
Haven't you ever seen Multiplicity? (The movie, not the software ;) ) A copy of a copy never quite comes out the same as the original.
