Just use the following on google - there will probably still be some delay but at least you won't miss it. BTW, it shows at the top as to where the game is available - most deals seem to be for NA only. site:https://www.stardock.com/media/mailers/

Thanks all! Game has been bought and is being downloaded - I love Christmas even though I don't celebrate it. Winter holidays, with cheap yet high quality games. Plus, sleeping is a lot of fun too :D Now I just have to wait while the game is downloaded using Impulse Anywhere. In the meantime, Cheers! [e digicons][/e]
I did the test and I have done it before - 0.26 mbps both upload and download. But I have to say that I can get consistently only about 192 kbps both sides. Anyway, I am going ahead and buying it. Even if my multiplayer experience is bad, which has a 50% probability IMO because of my distance from the servers, surely the game will be worth $7.5? I love both RTS and RPG, so I don't think I will regret it :)
Thanks for the info :)
I just saw the 75% off deal worldwide for Demigod. I am not experienced in the multiplayer arena, so I thought I would ask a few questions before buying the game: -I rarely play multiplayer games, but this game is all about multiplayer, right? -What kind of connection and ping do I need to play the game online? I have a 256 kbps connection, but I doubt if I will get pings less than 200, maybe even more. Can the game be played comfortably with 200-250 pings? -Can Demigo
Simply uncheck "remove all functionally parts when upgrading ship-design" in options and you can rename the ship through upgrading it without having to remember all the parts.
Thanks for reminding me of that - forest and trees again!
Lol, Jack... +karma for you!
I can understand - something like 100 sectors would have been nice. And something between Huge and gigantic too, maybe?
Rebuilt as in upgraded? That is great news! [e digicons][/e]
Banned because he did post and for not understanding that sleep and thunderstorm aren't exactly congruent. All calm now - and it is the lull AFTER the storm. Time to sleep :)
Yep, it just won't open - Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at metaverse.galciv2.com.
Banned because a thunderstorm just struck my city at the worst possible time - just before going to sleep. Now here I am up at 12:45 PM hoping that sleep would return and the thunderstorm won't!
Verkinix, no deal has shown up for me either for the last 48 hours or so, but I suspect it is just because there is no sale available for my region. I certainly hope that there is no bug when the Christmas sale is on. And I also hope that there will be sales available for me, or else I will just have to go and buy stuff from Steam or D2D. Not something I want to do. *Prays for full Sins sale, Demigod sale...*
Banned for handing out multiple bans in a single post! [e digicons]:banhammer:[/e]
Banned because I don't feel so well.
I salute you both, Admirals! May your exploits be even more astonishing than they are now.
This game is hard.
Lol, if you are going to be up against the dread lords, it is going to be hard :P Otherwise, it is okay - neither too hard nor too easy, IMO :)
DL is the original game - Dread Lords. DA is the first expansion - Dark Avatar. TA is the last expansion - Twilight of the Arnor. Since you didn't know what these meant, I daresay you can't have read everything :p The only reason that you can lose like that is because of the tech difference. You are possibly up against the dread lords, who are insanely powerful - they took out my 14B planets with just a 1B troop transport. I don't know how to win in the
Whooo galciv3! Please no total war kind of ship combat. Keep the focus on strategy not on tactics! That's my humble opinion.
I agree that the focus should be on strategy, but if the tactical battles can be fit into the game without compromise, I am all for it? I daresay that it will depend a lot on the reception Elemental's tactical combat recieves.
Thanks, I downloaded the mod and will try it when I decide to take time off the MV :)
Campaigns are not for noobsor even decent players, IMO. The few times that I have tried a campaign, I have been largely unsuccessful. I strongly suggest you play a sandbox game - the "New Game" button or the "Metaverse" button. Don't lose faith in the game because it is a great game and you will lose out on it. Try a normal campaign game and tell us what problems are you facing. Or what your doubts are. In the meantime, you can find a lot of game related information on the GalCiv 2 wi
Wow, that point about re-education centre is very interesting. But unfortunately, it looks as though only the Terrans have the tech to build it. And the spic control centre too. At least the Drengin, Korath and Yor don't get it. About the leases, my senior fellow Kzinti have also said that using them is a good idea, as long as you choose wisely. Luckily for me, my instinct has always guided me to capture as many resources as possible. I now choose whom to declare war keeping i
Teaser! Teaser! Personally, I don't much care for the story. Whenever GC3 is made, I just hope that it will be even better to play than GC2. Plus campaigns should be much more fun to play. Of course, it is still quite far away.
I can't think of anything, unless a planteory improvement improved the speed of your earlier ships.
I have developed my own "strategy" to avoid being sucked into that vortex ;)
