the Advent would have a big problem with the animal graveyard effect wouldnt they?

SOOOOO YEAH TDN. Could mean Trader or Terran but seeing as usually a nation gives their naval ships acronyms that represent that nation, Im leaning towards Trader. Heres an excerpt from the description of the Sova. "Having proven to be an effective countermeasure to pirate incursions, strike craft have been a staple of planetary defense forces for hundreds of years." Now this doesnt definitively prove anything. But the fact that the TO didnt ask for this war (o
sorry dont know how i did it but i double posted.....
Well Im willing to say that at most there'd be up to 3 gravity wells as said before so there would be tactical retreats, as sometimes its best to break contact and reform up. And to me it would make sense that atleast the Starbases would be allowed to be used in the Custom Battle area. Maybe everything just so that the Battle Simulator or what ever we decide to call it gives us the ability to fight whatever we want and test whatever we want.
if its a Vasari SB just keep your Fleet on the outside of the GW and keep them running in circles while the SC and Anti Structure chase it down and kill it, but just remember you will lose the Anti Structures in the process as the SB will move and youll have to pretty much chase it to keep it in range.
Battle Simulator sounds good to me. Sounds like its a training simulator for officers in training which keeps it inline with it being canon.
I would just call it a Custom Battle. Didnt give it much tought about its name.
yeah but i was hoping to see alot more people speak up on it.
Guess this idea isnt that debatable
Cobalt - "where the hell did my sheilds go?" Hoshi - "I dont care if you need to get healed, I need to get my next level.............oh wait this isnt WoW" Kodiak - "Oh SHIT I left the rest of the Fleet behind." Javilis - " I RAN OUT OF MISSILES FIVE MINUTES AGO!" Marza - " One more word from you and Ima shove this Nuke down your throat."
It has a ring, but seriously I think the devs like to drop lines like that just so they can keep us stirring. Im willing to bet TDN means what alot of us assumed it was Trader Defense Navy. They just like to keep us guessing about things getting a good laugh at how much we squirm when we see them post comments like that.
agree with Scout, double standards.............
I wonder what their immune system would be like, any bacteria that could survive the heat on planets they prefer would be pretty nasty if they were aggressive towards other lifeforms. Id bet the Vasari would have a very high immune system and using extreme strains of bacteria against the Vasari would fail miserably.
Please tell me when war has actually worked in someones favor and accomplished long term goals? War only comes around because of issues that will become Long term issues and the goal is to snuff out that problem. Alot of trash talk about the US but how about Europe...............The idiots over there were the direct reason for WW1 and WW2. But somehow all these smaller conflicts that cant stand up to the amount of lives lost in those wars, is a big enough reason to make the US the BIG BAD SUP
I would even assume that being disconnected from the Advent for too long would drive some individuals out of their minds. Imagine being apart of this Unity for all your life and then being riped from it without any warning. It would effect that individuals psyche as they are no longer apart of the collective.
Trader Defense for Newbies.
Jump your Fleet in and hold them back out of the Defense Platforms canopy. Destroy all of the ships, hopefully you havent fed the Pirates alot of money because the more money they have the bigger their Defense Navy is. Allow the SC to target the Defense Platforms. While your Units handle the Pirate ships. Once lost an entire Fleet including a number of Capitals because I underestimated the Pirates ability to swarm you. Had to jump another fleet in and still took heavy loses. I havent had this
actually you can jump your entire fleet into a mined gravity well without hitting them. Before you jump out push your Fleet to the very edge where they just wont go any farther outside the gravity well. Then jump them into the Enemy gravity well with the mines and they will jump in on the outer edge of the GW well out of the reach of the mines, Also attach 5 or so Scouts to a fleet for the purpose of gathering intel prior to jumping aswell as revealing mines.
all my hoshis are more preoccupied with killing things and usually have to be ordered to repair a ship thats being focus fired on. Learned to turn off the destructive abilities if i want to keep particular ships.
not all Vasari pics show them wearing a metalic headpiece.
well just to keep the debate going..................Ill disagree and continue to argue my last statement about the Opulentsia.
When did they KNOW the planet was going to kill the Ha'toc ship? The attack took place prior to the planets core spiking. They got hit and launched SC. They only got out of the way once they realized the planet was going to blow. Maybe you should go back to the episodes explaining the history of the Ancients. They built Atlantis after being infected with a plague created by the Ori and then traveled to the Pegasus Galaxy. The Destiny was explained to have been launched
looks like this topic is simmering
their heads explode.............. Actually I would guess extreme depression and probably suicidal tendencies. The Unity would be like an addiction without it the individual would go through withdrawals.
The terrorists are winning? cause they have to use homemade bombs to actually kill someone?? thats not winning thats desperation. War is about attritution, which is all about taking out resources and manpower. When your enemy can no longer supply men to fight and enough resources to create a real reply to your onslaught hes losing. By turning to IED's and using maybe 5 man teams to carryout these attacks it shows how weak theyve become. While IEDs can be useful, its only effective to morale n
