They found some precursor technology, activated it, and they're on thier way to Godhood. Personnally, this never affected nothing in my games, as I was on my way to a diplomatic or Influence Victory. I suppose if they're your ally, treat them well. I think it creates a low rise of stats, like toughness and researcha dn such, slowly, but surely..

Yeah, but it's seems it's leaning more toward fiction than sicenece nowadays...not Avatar specifically, jsut a slow but stable curve toward some sort of Fantasy Fiction...IN SPACE, rather than science fiction. At least they haven't exploited the cyberpunk genre to the bone, so maybe there's hope
