Yeah, but my view is from the outside of the US..which makes it more saddenning to me; just have some president no one lvoes anymore, put any good looking guy on the stand afterward and it'll be a done deal..... That and your elections last for a year or 2 at least..man that makes for horribly boring and unintresting news...et agian ours last 30 days and it's 29 days too much..maybe I guess people get fed up with the election craze they simply vote to get it off thier l

ok
I can't say how it was for real, but during the election (I'm in Quebec, Canada btw) it seems Obama's sole and only argument for anything was saying "CHANGE" alot. I dunno..it seems everyone was fed up with Bush, then someguy arrives, talks about how we all need change in our lives and everyone votes for him...I mean. form my POV, it seems he had no other plan or political agenda than to bring "change" to the people, whatever that change is and what it'll do/cost, who cares, it'll be
Gamespot already have a review up: 9/10, unsurprisingly. Odd, since it generally takes days to get a review for a game that got out wiht little commercial coverage, (that is, if they even review it) but some big shot production gets a review done the same day it launches...like it weas already written down and then jsut waited for midnight to click "send" and post the thing...
Sci-fi doesn't work well on TV because most think it'll be some Star Trek rip-off, and people seems to be confused about the whole ''Bizzare'' angle Sci-fi generally have. Plus it's harder to plug in some love story or some 'girl talk' moments, or product placement when you're telling a tale that's happening in the far future, another world, or whatever.
Well, I downloaded the VASSAL engine, which allows to play table top games wihtout all the painting, minis and such...sure beats dragging your army around the stores and tourneys...plusa you cna play online wiht anyone pretty much easely.
Honestly I think both DoW1 and DoW2 is inferior to the real Dawn of War which is Tabletop. Nothing beats displaying your painstakenly painted armies and customizing your army to the player interaction at the gaming group/club. If it only wasn't so expensive to get into that hobby... ($250-$400 for 2000 pt. army)
And then you got to paint them, read the rules, buy the core bo

Nah, it's the all FX, no story angle that did
Quoting Frogboy, reply 18I had thought they'd use GfWlive. But of the two, Steamworks makes the most sense. They might still use both. Dawn of War 2 uses both Steam and GfWL, Steam basically for DRM and GfWL for multiplayer. Having two required third party programmes kind of killed any desire I had to buy that game. Anti-customer policy is the wave of the future, man!
<

DoW 2's good..jsut..it's not a RTS as such: since there's no base building and troop production...plus there's only the goddamn Space Marines as a campaign. Sadly they'll release the Chaos Space Marines (Wow what a "diffrence"..) first, instead of the Imperial Guard (my favourite race..which gets raped and unbalanced in DoW1 and expansions) which would be way mroe kick-ass than just another set of Space Marines, but evil this time!.....and even then you'll still be stuc
Quoting ManSh00ter, reply 20Social Simulator... essentially they are simulators. As in, they simulate something specific, people's lives in this case. They are not a strategy game (and neither are games like C&C because they deal with a battlefield on a tactical level, not strategic). There are a lot of titles which have been poorly typified. In the case of Sims, I don't see why they shouldn't be classified next to a flight simu
Yeah, PAge 2 already...time sure fly when we're flame warrin'
Well, it seems the lowest common denominator has won yet again...... when, oh when will we ever get something actually decent to watch....... WH13 was pretty good if you like wierd, campy, and cerebral(which I do) but that's now gone....... I've been watching stuff from before I was even born via Netflix (RIP: DS9 ....) but I'm going to run out eventually........
Oh man, DS9 's a sweet serie Ch
Well, Fox did let Universal make a movie out of Firefly, to be fair.
Yeah- because after cancelling the show they actually noticed people liked it- depsite not being like any other show..too original I suppose...
Seconded: Remakes are the cancer of Hollywood...and Hollywood have had cancer for close to 10-15 years now.... I say we need more cyberpunk movies; dark, gritty admosphere, a lone hero bathing in shades of grey...tehcno-bitches too!
That's like saying kids are violent because of violent movies/games....people just got that reflex to quickly search for a patsy and put the blame on others rather than having a good look at themselves and do a serious moral inventory of themselves.

Conservatives will not accept ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, BBC or CBC (I think sheer volume alone indicates which side is correct.
