Yes!! Goes with our Santa widget "Days 'til Christmas", and all the rest of the awesome Christmas gear all over the desktop. Thanks, mormegil for the wonderful WB! and, and...

Peace all over the world Me too. Often... T, our prayers go out for you. Bless you and keep you. SD: That's so sad...mustn't let the kids hear of this yet! Me...I'd like some chrome contacts that double as wireless monitors to wear, and lots of things for all the kids everywhere. Comfort for everyone...th

rr, many thanks for the DX tips! I've had DX since the beginning, but haven't had the patience to explore it 'til now. Sounds like just the advice I can use, one way or another.
Thanks for the reply, c242, at least the system's still ticking over...there's hope
I, too, have the same problem with a couple of widgets.. they sometimes disappear, or only blink for one clock cycle, when I load them, then they are listed as running, in DX Builder version, but aren't visible on the desktop. One example is Tiggz' great clock that spells out the time is "fuzzy" terms. It's called, of course, "Fuzzy Clock". It worked well for a couple of weeks of daily use, eight hours a day, then doesn't show up...(?!). I've tried rei
Good to find this thread! I've got the same problem, with two icons, etc. I've been getting popups the last couple of hours, one that's from M'soft: Do You Want to Report this Error?", and the other says OD+ will now close...then up pops a form to email Jeff@stardock support. Jeff must be nuts by now if he's working these! I'll check back in the morning, and reinstall OD+, etc. tomorrow, but it's good to see I'm not the only one with gremlins, and that
The Best Yet! Way To Go, Everyone! Thank You.
Militant feminists, rabid vegetarians, eco-warriors and mislabeled anarchists Love it! Yes, you should write, if you're not published already. Was in Rishikesh same time as everyone else, so I relate...however...'oblahdi,oblahdah'...how the life goes on. Major thanks for the serendipity....don't know
A good-news performance note: Just noticed a drop in phys. memory usage from avg. 78% (of 512 RAMBUS RAM) to 35% using WB5 after using WB4.6. P4 1.4GHz running same as b4, about30%. Also 2-yr-old system, homebuilt in school So WB5 does use less resources, as stated. Nice work, all!
...besides, it's my birthday today, so I'm a little manic...
Sorry if I offended... ...never heard expression 'trolls' before... ...still funny...
Can't they spray for trolls? ...Just found a very cool widget that can startup with my system: Boxxi's LCDeep_WC...new-skin WC feed. Not only is there WB5, but also great means of seeing latest works! Thanks, Boxxi, WC and Stdck! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Congrats.gif
Hey, just so you know, there's some of us out here that are as happy as kids on Christmas morning! I've got tons of new GUI enhancements, amazing personalized support at both WC and Stardock, not to mention skinnalicious, skinartistry and sites too numerous to mention...sorry to miss some of you, but I'll lose this post if I go look...you know who you are. I've been a 'consumer' for years, now, and it just keeps getting better. For those of you having
RE: #106- "There sure is a lot of forum activity from non-subscribers about their shareware WB5 not working...wtf? And, duh! time zones?? Anyone heard of these? Everyone needs to eat their Lithium and chill. All good things come to those who wait (with PATIENCE). Those who bought their versions: COOL stuff huh!?"
Amen! Went from 4.9 to 5.00.001 or whatever is latest via SDC, even ran 'upgrade', and it rocks! Fast. Clean. CPU use is a tad higher: 45% vs. 25%, but that might be the new video card... WB5 worked flawlessly right out of the box! Yowzah! What a nice b'day present for me <img sr
GMT-7, here. Stardock is GMT-5. Finally got the scones to DL and upgrade to WB5. Went thru Object Desktop, and all worked fine. Thank you, everyone!
WB5!...OOH...AAH...HOLY ____! AURA transp. taskbar...whooaah! Way to go,everyone involved! This is sweet! Now THIS is the way GUI mods should work... (oops, sorry about that...emote...emote...) </fon
Anote on cards...best buy has X700 on sale for $99, 1/2 price . I just swapped-out my old RADEON 7000 AGP for X700 PRO AGP. It went seamlessly, about 1/2-hour or less, even while eating waffles with one hand . On an Intel D850GB with 512 RAMBUS RAM. Now backing up to swap WB4.6 for WB5. Wi
GMT -7, here...(drums fingers on keyboard)...I guess this is the opposite of a description of 'life' I heard once:'...like a roll of toilet paper, the nearer the end, the faster it goes'

Site's rockin' now! But, yes, wasn't able to login then, also...got an 'unable to access servers' page, so just got out of the way for a few hours. Thanks, everyone for forsaking family get-togethers and fixing it for us. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and able to relax and 'get off the set' for a while. Here in Idaho we've had our first couple of inches of (mashed potatoes) snow. Still falling...perfect weather to get up the cojones to swap-ou
