Did your system lately pop up a permission form saying something like "Outlook Express can compress email files to save space...continue?" and did you o.k. it? Happens to me bi-monthly, and I say yes, and still find all my emails. Using XP Home a couple of yrs. ago, OE used to save my emails (auto-save ) under a weird filename, like ".DSX" or something. I couldn't ever open them again. Maybe do a search for

...update: still no word from ATI. Very uninformative and unresponsive. *sigh* Will limp along 'til I get affluent enough (read "disposable income") to build another system with all the bells and whistles...and nVidia graphics perhaps
My HP4700 IPAQ rocks, and ebooks are mainly what I use it for. Spendy, but does many useful tasks. Sony no ...baloney! Sony needs to go back to their traditional internal corporate management. Sad, but I believe their innovative, visionary spirit that made them so great has died with their founder. Sony? meh
It's still amazing. Your best article yet, Zoomba. I'll read it many times. Thanks.
just kickin' back and chilling out for a while.... lol. I get to do that after I drop the kids off at school...
Just checking on everything... Good thoughts for you, brother
Thanks, Murex. It does make sense, and yes it's a great idea.
too many bigmacs
Be well, Tom. Praying for you, brother.
That must be like the ones they called "step'n'a-half" in 'Nam...all you got was a step and a half. Man, the Taipan is one serious customer. I'm STILL doing the math and it's hard to believe! I'm amazed anybody's still alive around those parts.
Waiting to see what people come up with. I'm just now learning to change things in DX, let alone code-crunching in VB or however it's done.
It's got me using ObjectBar and liking it for the first time. Looks like I'll keep using it. I like the "skin matching" capabilities, watching for themes to come out. Loaded Vista theme and got the sidebar...wondering how to move it to left side. Probably easy, just haven't found it yet. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Cool.gif" border=0 ALIGN="ab

Jafo, what kind is that?
Whoah! That's cool! Just went to the skin's "comments", scanned thru them, and came up with WWW Link that spells it out! Now I'm actually liking DX...that's a first, after 4 yrs. Thanks, Bichur, for the lightning response. Clone, then "Ctrl + mouse and drag", then rename (save target as...). Piece. Of. Cake. [just foun
Nope...still can't figure out how to add link to Websites menu in Aero XP DX theme. I only get "set target" when I right-click the one existing WinCustomize shortcut. Wil keep picking away at it, running DX Builder
Thanks, Murex, was trying to figure out how to add links to my "Websites" popup as it only came with WinCustomize. Right on.
Thanks for the post. I regularly use Disc Cleaner and then Defragment , but only occasionally use Registry Cleaner , as at times it deletes files that are necessary to the operation of what I consider essential programs (Lantec, you're right...caution is a watchword here...). Object Sweeper and DriveScan , included in Object Desktop , are also helpful to me to see what's junk and what's essential. "If it ain't brok
Pretty soon there won't be much left of either one if this keeps up...
Bloatware!
You just a pup
Happy Birthday, old-timer! Thanks for watching over us all.
Just installed OB2 and have been dinking around with it for about two hours. Better go find a tutorial as I'm getting mishmoshes [" mishmoshes "?! Is that yiddish? Po'-ese?...]
