Just a p.s. on my last post...I guess that my IPAQ will work to synch, with a Vista "built-in" sub-program. McAfee has no links I could find on their site, so TrendMicro might be it...I've got that on a Sony Vaio as an ad/spam filter, and it seems to work o.k. Don't like the notion of no access to Admin account, or whatever it is...and the boot "music" is bound to be a pain. Will just have to make adjustments sometime in the future. I ordered the Vista

Thanks, Z! Looks good. Gotta get on the bandwagon some time, sooner or later... Still draggin' my feet on IE 7. 6 works fine for me, so no reason to change except for tabbed browser... we'll see. [edit: Your link took me to Vista site where I could, and did, download an "advisor" to check my system for "Vista readiness". Interesting. It said my NcAfee Virus pro

Great Nintendo link, Island Dog! Interesting. For me, Mario in space sounds good for a first. Nine and eleven-yr-olds here... sixshot: No wired?! Gotta be. HD needs to be added...soon! Graphics remain unknown...will make or break my decision. Good graphics are a must today. Thanks, everyone, for the info and updates <img src="http://images.stardoc

Been waiting for this one for a couple of months, now! $250 seems about right. Don't know yet how people will adapt to the controllers... My local outlet says it will be backwards-compatible to use GameCube discs...we'll see. WiFi sounds good.

B4e, Man! That's cool for ME, if it's o.k... No, I was thinking about a user icon for #990, but it wouldn't get thru mod . Wow! The one you made is awesome! Can I have it?! I'll shrink it down to 50 X 50 or so and it should work

Our family wishes for peace in the world and goodwill among human beings and their interactions with all creatures and creation. I have seen too much in my travels to think there will be a quick solution to this violence we are experiencing. There are those who wish nothing more than a return to the fourteenth century and its inherent bloody "smiting of necks", for whatever twisted reasons. I hope for a more stable world in which all our children and t

It's like having all the advantages of a news group and a forum put together. And it's faster than ever. And a browser. And...even puts a Winky on your post(can I say that here? ) Thanks Brad, and all the techs and crew! <img src="http://images.stard

Yes. Well worth it. #8 says it all. For me, also, the ability to specify where in fact I want my docks to be, on the edge or away from it and how far. The ability to have scripted docklets/icons that "shut down", "restart", "run...(anything that's coded into them)". Finally, I could hide EVERY icon in Windows, and have a totally clean desktop for working. I now get the ful

Hmmm...I run McAfee SecurityCenter and no worries...however, was thinking this a.m. about that long-ago thread re: antivirus progs. and was just going to reread it about the alternatives to McAfee and Norton. "Yellow"?! Cerebral rectosis! Maybe time to switch/upgrade to another AV...
