Conversational aikido! Congratulations, Po' ! [What am I hearing here? "Hang in there...it just gets different "?!? ]
Just scoped it out...I've had many of these on an Ipaq for years, burnt out on them all, just doodling for me...noticed WeatherBug available, avoid it like the plague. I tried it and it gronked my whole system resulting in a reformat to get rid of it. Our widgets and Gadgets here are still light-years ahead of anything else out there, as far as I can tell. Thanks for the sidebar headline so that I checked it out! <img src="http://images.star
Got my attention in the sidebar "Essential Articles". Going now to check it out. Thanks.
Thanks for the heads-up, Corky O... but, man, what a scene the Vista concept is turning out to be! Just spent all I can or want to on a new laptop, so one way or another, I'm on WIN XP for the forseeable future. The old desktop, tho, could be another story...
Ditto, me too! [goes to check it out...]
Thanks, Corky O. Thanks, SB, for the link. I've wondered how to do this for literally years. Cool!
Will do! Was kind of lost as to what to do next...thanks SB! [edit: What a treasure trove. Right on!]
Iv'e got the same issue. Have had for some time now. Set to run on Startup, with top tabbed and three bottom-center, stacked. All Diafragma's Tempered Glass and TG II. I get that error message, say, every fifth boot, click "o.k." on the message, and it loads as usual. Thanks for the tip, SB, will run thru those and see what's up. <TD class="mb-Body-Quote-

not you, TYCUS...don't pick that up...walk on, bro. You're just fine.
I think something's tweaked with the latest WB 5. I found the update in SDC...it popped up and asked if I wanted to install it, as usual with available updates, and I accepted, it installed, said to reboot, and that's when the weird stuff began happening. See Link and other links from there to Stardock forums (not WinCustomize forums)for clues. Now it all se
Is there any way we can keep the hordes out so it stays this fast always?..
DZ...I hate to see you so upset and pull out like this Yeah, me too. Possible to reconsider...?

T-man, the hard work and commitment seem to have paid off. I just arrived today, via an "update" notice in my email, and the email link took me directly to the pertinant forum article without a hitch or any noticeable lag at all. Then page-hopped to forums menu, and here...snappy! Thank you, everyone at WinCustomize and Stardock and all who had input to the project. Interested in just what changes were made and why, how they improved the experience of
Yeah, me too! Just started getting this weird error message, on startup, OD+ runs fine otherwise....somewhat alarming, as any error can be...but as long as there's nothing fragmenting or worse where I can't see, it's gotta be o.k. for now...would like it to go away soon, tho. Thanks for posting this, siouxtupa. I only found this post by accident as I didn't even know of the existence of Stardock forums, just WinCustomize forums !?! <img src="http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g155/42n8k9/dnt
