Quick question recently played a game to get go big or go home acheivement as vasari by the end i had atleast one lvl 6 of each vasari cap. My question is how does mauraders phase stabilizer work exactly i prssed it then tried to jump to another stabilizer and it failed. Does the maurader have to be at the edge of the grav well or does it not matter cuz if it does i say that reduces its usefullness

Pretty cool map Darvin. do i have to go multiplayer to try or can i get it somewhere. But on the topic i think your right face off really promotes only its name sake facing off with your opponent. i think the best plan is a cap rush with a cap like the sova for the TEC the revelation for advent and the kortul or egg for the vasari( if your feeling lucky you can try the maurader)

I try and play every race now and again to random it up. But the vasari jus really suite my all out offence style. assailants overseers skirmishers every vasari ship has some ability that jus makes their relatively higher cost worth it. Plus lets not forget every vasari battle comes with a balanced diet of space eggs, space turnips(starbase) and alittle pepper(kortul)

Perhaps there is topic on it. so try searching the forums. But the antorak is the fastest cap thanks to distort gravity but is a terrible first cap choice as it has little combat abilities except phase out hull. though in al small map it could be useful if u can get it to the enemy homeworld and subvert it before he can build any sizable fleet whilie slowly sending in one of your own. though that would mean skipping colonizing other planets all together. i wouldnt recommend it[e digic

All caps are generally the same speed, but the fastest cap is the maurader. that said i would still build an egg or a kortul because in small maps u either strong colonizing power of colonizer caps or the battleship.

If teams are unlocked against AI there is gamble stratedgy i use. If u expand very slowly so that u dont see any AI ships before your first missions come in the first missions will be to give credits or resources. if u have enough resources you make one of the AI teams your ally and focus on its missions. then maybe you can turn the AI on its self. the gamble is if if u go slow hard AI expand fast so if u dont get a good enough diplomatic stand you may find yourself locked

GW stands for gravity well. And there are many diff scouting strats it all depends on how fast you expand, the size of the map, and how fast your enemy expanded. Four Advent and TEC scouts are cheap have a low supply and can be made in enough numbers to scout the whole map in the beginning(i find five to enough in maps where pirate bases are not key gravity well in which u may need to make plenty)on auto explore. With vasari atleast for me i make 5 scouts and jus try to keep them alive throug

Why should they ask politely. to translate to a common situation. your playing online its free for all without locked teams. your playing vasari and there is a guy playing TEC who started not too far from you. your about to suggest to him you team up when you realise all he has is tradeports and some how ur scouts are taking his planets(i know its impossible but humour me) would u really consider that guy a worthy ally or would you just kill him and take what he has for your own. That

[quote who="Allegiance86" reply="52" id="2418493"]their not trying to win a war? they started this whole fiasco, although the TEC do owe the Vasari their thanks as They might not have been able to pull together a military response to the Advent had it not been for the Vasari striking first. Theres a hell of alot of space out there, if the Vasari just wants to get through so they can continue running, they should have just realized instead of conquering the Terrans and starting a war between t

Hey dont count out the vasari yet. They may not be an extremely powerful force of well synergised ships or some some group that believes in quantity over quality but thats because they are not trying to win a war they are trying to clear a path. So guerilla warfare will work fine. Also this doesnt really belong in strategy thread does it?

Hey and welcome to sins. I am also farely new so my advice may not be helpful as others. Firstly its my opinion that scouting is very important especially before attacking an enemy. it can also alert you to which of your oppenents is drawing close to you. I think its partially important to micro scouts at one point but especially so if your playing vasari so you can capture neutrals. If your having trouble protecting outer planets maybe your expanding too fast. U should try to
