Like tonight I was Vas Loyal, I was on the frontline and was pushing back my advent foe, I took his moon, and was attacking his hw, as this goes on for a bit my team mate is suddenly like "oh my foe' s marza is level 6 and has mb now all is lost" then he proceeds to quit. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!??!?!
Tell him to build an Akkan with Ion Bolt if he is TEC, turrets with Disruptor Nanites if hes Vasari or a Radiance with Detonate Antimatter if hes Advent next time! [e

The funny thing is that sareth would most likely wipe the floor with you in a 1v1 multiplayer match Amatiel. [e digicons][/e]
I don't think the dev's are willing to sift through hours of video footage in order to catch a few people who misbehave on ICO, to be honest...
The apocalypse draws near. The end is nigh people, better grab yourself that girl / boy / alien you always wanted to make love to and spend the money you have left on building a bomb shelter in your basement!
I think you would like the new map called "Kabel", sareth. It came with the last major update. It is great for 5 vs 5 games yet I don't ever see anyone play it in MP, which is kind of a shame.
I wholeheartedly agree with Sel on this one.
Dude. Post stuff like this in the modding section of the forums please. There peope will be able to guide you and help you out with the mod you are making.
Its not like they will nerf BRB anyway...
I'd rather have faction diversity then a choice between 2 titans personally.
Agreed. Faction diversity is the most important thing in this expansion lore-wise.
Hah I just noticed that you are Lord_Arakhor on Steam. I got you in my friendslist, but had no idea you were active here on the forums under a different name. Funny find! [e digicons][/e]

Goddamn hippies...
Hm that does explain why they disappear indeed. They should put the duration in the ability description then, so there won't be any misunderstandings about it in the future. If they put the duration to 300 I'd vote for making the GNS more powerful than it currently is since it consumes all your handy utility swarms.
I also thought Aquia's use of large numbers of Cobalts as opposed to corvettes was interesting.
Corvettes kind of suck nowadays since you can counter them so easy with flak.
The GNS is not supposed to disappear. It's a bug, known by now I suppose since someone else also posted a thread about it. You are right by the way about the GNS not beig as strong as the other swarms are seperately. THe strong point of the GNS is basically that it cannot disappear over time (at least that should be its strong point). So you don't need antimatter to keep it sustained while being able to crete an infinite number of them costing zero fleet supply.
Yea, it looks like those ones are popular, however sometimes random will screw you pretty bad: one time I did a 2v2 on a 6 player map and my ally ended up having only 1 exit to his empire: the pirate base ! That's pretty bad, but I guess it's very rare.
Yea this kind of shit sometimes happens, but it is indeed very rare. The dev's are working on making the random maps more competitive by having every planet contain a fixed num
Quoting Teun-A-Roonius, reply 35 Planets have to be unpinned automatically, I believe. By this I assume you mean manually?
Whoops yes I do, I think I typed this automatically. [e digicons]XD[/e] THe Empire Tree now only jumps if you enable the "show ships in phase space" option in the Interface menu.
How am I doing it wrong?
Dunno, it is supposed to work the way me and this other guy told you... For me it works when I do it, so the only conclusion I can make is that you must have forgotten to turn off an auto-pin option or something. Planets have to be unpinned automatically, I believe.
Someone just posted a thread containing a self-crafted spreadsheet in which you can see a lot of ingame stats and compare them easily. I figured it would hold the answers you seek as well Lupus, so here you go: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkXcxk3JQI55dFl3M1lvYUI3aGRqQkZzV3lPTzhKcHc#gid=0
Starting Homeworlds should all be equal, but if the map is random, why would you want the planets to all be the same? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of randomness? Or did I misunderstand something you said?
The fun of random maps is having to adapt to your spawning position, which is different each time you play. It would be fair though, if everyone would be able to colonize planets and asteroids that have an equal amo
