Yeah pressing the right mouse button after you get the "structure complete" message and selecting the completed Novalith Cannon by pressing the spacebar once really is a big deal...

The devs are doing what they can but you need to make sure you have a beefy CPU (read GHz not cores) to run the game well on high end.
The strange thing is that the game runs extremely smooth on my MacBook (I hardly encounter any lag at all, not even in late game with ten players in) which is a QuadCore but has only 2.2 Ghz. I expected my older Windows laptop which has a dual core processor of 2.4 Ghz to run t
Quoting Volt_Cruelerz, reply 3Umm.. Pulse Beams are on the Antorak, Kortul, Jarrasul, and Rankulas IIRC. No. Vulkoras also has Pulse Beams. And Rankulas has Pulse Guns (which I think is really strange.)
I think it is quite nice to have a capital ship with pulse gun weapons since they can be boosted with tier 1 research.

yes the word "on" has been missing for years... I have even made two threads about that very thing but the dev's must have overlooked them. Maybe you are more lucky than me.

[e digicons];P[/e] In a thread they would most likely just be overlooked, while they receive the maximum amount of attention when they are posted as a new thread.

They have been shooting with the wrong angle since Vanilla lol... The Pulse beam effects you can simply change in a minimod yourself; just import the pulse beam effect which the Kortul uses and put it in the entity file of the Antorak.

Scouts get a new ability "Deep Space Exploration", they go away for 5 minutes or so, and discover a new solar system that wasn't on the map before. Could even have new AI players on it. Would let you play to your heart's content. Just disable the scouting ability when you reach the maximum number of planets
While a feature like this would be extremely cool, it will mo
There are 4 bomb hardpoints on the FrigateTechSiege.mesh but in the entity file you see the following, which unlike weapons does not have anything for PointStaggerDelay which determines the timing between shots emitting from hardpoints. If, with weapons, you have a pointstaggerdelay of 0.2 and there are 10 hardpoints on the front, then shots will come out of those 10 hardpoints at 0.2 second intervals -sort of like the Vasari Starbase firin

A minor annoyance, but I figured it couldn't hurt mentioning this. Also the Capitalships still appear in a random order in your empire tree, instead of listing the highest level capitalship first and the lowest capitalship last like it used to be.

As TEC it is pretty simple: Send in a fleet of Ogrovs (about 20 should do the job, though you'll probably be fine with 15 or so as well) supported by flak frigates and Hoshiko's. They turn a starbase into a scrapheap in no time. For the Advent is is probably best to use a shiteload of Solanus Adjudicators (though they are really expensive) backed by some capitalships and a bunch of Defense vessels (a Domina or two would help as well, in case you have access to them already. Holding on to artifacts by not building a Titan is self-defeating.
True. Yet the Vasari have very strong ships. With a large fleet aided by some capital ships they should be able to manage without a titan.
If that is indeed the case, I propose that killing the Titan would make the artifact pass hands, even to non-vasari factions. The same logic would be true to all races. although only vasari can make the artifact movable, everyone can lose it to its neighbour.
That wouldnt be a great idea since the Vasari Loyalist player can just research the Stripped to the core tech and not build a titan. As the title states, this new tech doesn't show the effects of multiple friendly forces that are present in a gravity well on your units' infocards. Or I am just extremely blind and tired and even after testing it with four allied encoys in a single owned gravity well I didn't notice the difference in DPS per weapon type on my Orkulus starbase...
