First of all: Create a folder somewhere easily accessible and put in the ConvertData_Rebelion and msvcr80.dll files (I put my files at C:\ConvertData because it is a short path). 1: After having created this folder, in the Search bar (in Windows' Start menu), type cmd and press the enter key. 2: Navigate to this folder you created by typing: cd C:\ConvertData and pressing the enter key. 3: For entity file conversion from BIN to TXT copy and paste the files you wish to co

I see how they can be useful, and thanks for explaining how it would be possible to implement these kind of gravity well- bound ships into the game. However, it would probably still require a lot of playtesting on how many of these hybrid ships should be allowed in a single gravity well at once. Remember that a defending player could combine a maxed out number of hybrid ships, turrets (since you wanted the new ships not to consume any tactical slots) and a starbase (being TEC Loyalist
Yes it happens to everyone. It has been malfunctioning since before the last update. Telekinetic Push and some other anti- strike craft abilities also don't work. The dev's are aware of thi issue though.
This is about the tenth time I see this idea in less than two months... Anyway I am not in favor of these kind of moving turrets (which in they actually are in their essence). This because it would render conventional turrets useless compared to their new relocatable brethren and would also make defenders nearly impossible to push over.

It could be done but I wouldn't count on any official version of Rebellion containing such a feature if I were you...
where do you turn that on/off at?
Probably in your NVidia / Catalyst Control Panel.
At least the ships now turn before they power up their main engines. It has been improved a lot, as Goa also stated.

I believe the first New Features list released by the dev's to the public said: "Loyalist and Rebel versions of existing ships." I am a bit disappointed that this didn't happen...

I think he means an Orky with just the 8 upgrades Mr. Haze. [e digicons]:P[/e] I do agree it would be more fun if the starbase was upgraded.
I believe there was also some technology or Titan Ability available that referenced TEC and Vasari working on it, likely an armour upgrade. I'll have to re-check that some time.
The Vasari rebels have a tech in their warfare research tree that grants them a boost to armor. It says that the TEC grant them access to their supply chains so that the armor on Vasari ships can be restored to original strength.
Repair platforms don't target constructors. You have to target them manually if you want to repair them. Just like trade -and refinery ships, they don't regenerate their health (Except for the TEC faction, after researching the Civillian Ship Safety Act).
It does sound like you used the preview button though. Preview mode doesn't show you ten random players when you preview a map that conatins less players in total... Maybe you accidentally previewed the galaxy while you didn't intend to do so. I wouldn't know what else could have happened...
I personally hoped for some sort of heavy strike craft that wouldn't need to be built at factories but would be carried by special corvette carriers... Or something... At least I would've been happier with another introduction than the present one.
Haven't seen this bug anymore since the patch that fixed it either... Are you absolutely sure you have the latest version of the game?

Would be cool to have some of these options enabled I think.
