Another thing they should fix about the Revelation is the upper gun turrets which never shoot. I have been complaining about that for the past 2 years but yarlen didn't seem to care much about it. I fixed the guns (and some other non-firing turrets on other ships) in a minimod that I made, but it still bothers me that it just doesn't get implemented in the "real" game. The names could be made a few characters longer I believe. But too long would cause the name to glitch off the infocard belonging to the ship, like what happens when you have Frontal Delector Shield at level 2 on a Vasari starbase.

I am quite sure the income advantages of higher level AI's are as follows: Hard AI gets a 2x income advantage, Unfair Ai gets a 4x income advantage, Cruel gets a 6x income advantage and Vicious even an 8x income advantage. I could be mistaken though, maybe the dev's changed changed some stuff in Rebellion.

Yeap it would be nice to manually configure your fleet a bit more. It would only add another layer of strategy to the game. Couldn't do much harm I suppose.

The main difference is that higher AI difficulty levels have an income advantage, so they are able to get their hands on better ships and techs earlier than a human player could with the same income rates. There is no difference in the way the AI uses its resources though, so don't expect better tactics when playing against harder AI players.

The last "bug" he mentioned is obviously a multiplayer desync, since besides the incorrect culture spread the game tells the players that they have died while they are still playing. You and your buddy should send your savegame files to Stardock, since this issue still remains to be solved.

Try reinstalling both the Steam client and your game. After doing so wait until it is fully patched to the latest version and try running it again (through Steam first, just to make sure).
