So I have been thinking a lot about how we could possibly solve the superweapon problem that is caused by the AI spamming a lot of superweapons sometimes. I think the superweapon limit introduced by the dev's is a nice temporary fix to them, but I still think players shouldn't be limited in their options when playing the game. If they want to build a lot of superweapons, let them have their fun. I have a feeling most people wanted to see a superweapon nerf because they hate lo

The funny thing is that in 0.79 I played against a TEC Rebel Unfair AI which actually spammed massive fleets at me. I also noticed that the Advent are becoming nearly unbeatable in late stages of the game on huge maps. In one battle I fought an Advent fleet that whas composed of a Titan and 8 Capital ships, while my own fleet counted 14 capital ships and a Titan of my own. Due to the Advents extremely high shield mitigation levels (a level 10 Radiance Battleship even had 79% sh

In fact she appears on the TEC Loyalist selection screen.
Yes I keep laughing every time when I start a new game and I hear a male voice saying "There is work to be done. Are you interested?", click on the picture and see the face of that woman. Seems the dev's didn't really think that one through. [e digicons]:P[/e]
Haven't really gotten far into any 0.8 game yet. But i sure as hell will check if this issue occurs to me as well. Thanks for mentioning it! [e digicons][/e]

First off everyone cries about the overpoweredness of superweapons and asks for a limit. Now there is a limit in the game and people start crying that they can't camp behind their well defended frontline anymore and sit out the next of the game. Really people what the hell do you actually want? Is there even fun in camping out the game while spamming Novaliths? I really don't get it. But fine with me, everyone likes something else... That was of course directed to those t

In the past the Pirate Defense Platforms used to have some sort of anti strike craft ability. It was really powerful and forced you to either move dozens of carriers into the gravity well where the Pirate Base was located, or assault the pirates with a massive fleet. I regret that they removed this anti-strike craft ability (at least I have not seen it being used in rebellion so far). I would like it if it was put back in.

My favorite language is ActionScript 3 though, which I use a lot. It is a very flexible language, which is why I think it's great for flash applications, making games and for interactive prototyping.
Usually its a mistake in the Code Tim. Some bugs can come from weird places man.
Though one would assume the dev's playtested their updated code first, to make sure it really does work as intended, before releasing it to the public... That's one of the basic rules of game development. Believe me, I've studied that. Yet a lot of companies rush out updates without proper playtesting.
They just need to make it so that it autocasts only when the fleet is retreating. Though I'm not sure if this is easy to do or not.
Replacing the game files with the ones you modded works. But that's really not something you should be willing to do. I made backups of all the original files so I can still restore the game to it's original state. It's not pretty, but it's a workaround...
