You have to select to planet/moon to build anyway, so where is the confusion?
The confusing thing is that you cannot see which objects are in which gravity well in case of an overlap. I hope you understand that units in Gravity well A are unable to attack units in Gravity well B even when they are right next to each other. Which makes an overlap even more pointless.

In Trinity I have noticed that my allied AI player sometimes built a starbase in one of my wells which was adjecent to an enemy well, when I hadn't got a starbase there myself. It would be nice to send a 'Build Starbase' mission to allied players though. On the other hand, you should only ask Ai players to build starbases in your gravity wells in locked team matches. Or they might just be used against you later in the game.

I think pooling resources would be a terrible idea. In multiplayer games there are people who literally don't give a crap about their teammates and they would just consume huge amounts of resources only to aid their own cause, leaving the other teammates with next to nothing to use. Also, in singleplayer games the AI might be unable to know how to use this feature and end up doing the same as described in the multiplayer scenario, just consuming all resources for itself. The only

They have already stated elsewhere that there won't be a retail version of Rebellion, neither for the collectors edition. Think of it as a 'Digital Deluxe Edition', rather than a boxed collectors edition. Sorry to say...

The Advent and Vasari corvettes have some nice passive abilities with them, that might actually change your opinion towards them. That's all I will say for now... [e digicons][/e]

The normal fleet movements from the AI (at higher levels at least, I only play against vicious AI's) seem to work just fine. Only the Capital ships and Titans need to be fixed (I only saw one Ai player actually jump his titan from one gravity well to defend another, but this has happened only once).

Sometimes the AI have five or more capital ships doing the dance one after the other. Also it usually have a big fleet in the gravity well it jumps from and if its whole fleet had jumped at the same time It would have a chance at victory.
It's just messed up AI behavior. There won't be a retail version of the game anymore. This is because it's really hard to make any profit from retail nowadays (compared to digital downloads). I'm sorry to say, mate.

It is supposed to heavily damage everything that is directly around the starbase when used. This includes friendly units. Strange that it did not damage your titan, it should have (unless it was just out of range).

I have the exact same problem as described in the OP. Though it only happens to me just once or twice during a four hour or so game, this is still annoying. Happened after a Diplomacy beta update once as well and I believe it has something to do with AI decision making.

Yes, Corvettes do cause a tremendous amount of lag in multiplayer games. This could be fixed either with upping their fleet supply cost or by making them more expensive. Limiting players in how many of certain ship types they can deploy would be a bad thing, I think. People want freedom of choice, and this shouldn't be forgotten. If someone wants to build a lot of corvettes, I say why not? Maybe limit them only in multiplayer to address the lag issues.

They might even go to court for something like that.

Some nice ideas there, but I doubt we will ever see more moons in the main game (in a mod we will see more definitely, I don't doubt that).

This has actually been mentioned in some other threads and the dev's are looking into it, I believe. Also the matter of captured structures (by the Corsev) not converting properly will be fixed.

Snipe can shoot at targets that are close to the titans as well, same goes for explosive shot, so no minimal range as far as I can tell. The titan never seems to use scattershot when auto cast is on, which needs to be addressed.
