Question: Whats the point with Object Desktop? When I used it, around 10% of system resources and processor usage were used by less than half of the OB apps. And you eventually get fed up of it, and heres the ironic bit... The people who create the objects and skins often use programs that use alot of system resources and power and their tasks are slowed down by these often unnessasery processes... Am I right in thinking that LogonUI.exe is just a plain EXE that calls another sub-routine that loads the user's profile settings upon correct username and password? So... If that's the case then technically the logonui.exe can be any program that makes the correct calls... right? Technically if the LogonUI.exe is just an excecutable that initiates the logon procedure performed by another program then the logon app could look like anything, and could even be a 3D program where you... say have a gun and shoot the person you want to log in as... I'm right, ...right?
Do you have to adhere to the exact positions of controls and objects on the logon screens? I mean, does the logon button have to be to the right of the password box and is of that exact size?
