General Help and impressions in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Hi all Nice game so far. I was around at beta 1 or so hehe. Couple things so far; 1. How does the alien race decide what planets to go after and were. It seems that they have omnipotent map knowledge at the start of the game. Also, they seem to favor coming after the good systems near me, when they have good or better systems near them. Seems way off. Souldn't we all start off blind? 2. Not sure how to make a fleet. You could update the manual if you could :).
