I don't really see, as it has been said before, how the cultural victory (80%) is different from the conquest victory, after some point in the game where nearly every sector will be occupied. Having multiple civs sharing starsystems would change how the fleets are working, and it may be a radical change. I like it as it is now. But I have a question : is influence calculated by colony or by starsystem ? On the other hand, I'd like to have more specialized colonies, not only for populating... When you get the tech to build the HMC, it is good to get all your main planets to build it, and put 100% to social products, if circumstances allow it. I found the production boost to be worth the effort on the long term. The slower civs will have a much more difficult time to catch up, and I find it realistic to widen the gap beetween leading civ and the others.
