Well i tried the option that says to hit if the image appears blank. The bad thing is that i wont know for a while if it works. It comes and goes, and right now its fine, i can see it and its skinned. But who knows how long that will last.

I guess ill just have to exclude firefox then, its a shame to forgo beauty for functionality. But then again isnt that usually they way it works? May'haps ill try opera, see if that has any skinning problems. I strongly oppose the use of IE by sane and coherent people. Leave it for the crazies ;)

I have had this problem since installing WB6, and i think it was happening in wb5 aswell. My Titlebar and all edges of the window around Firefox are completely transparent... Heres a Screenshot to illustrate my meaning. It is particularly annoying when trying to minimize/maximize or close firefox. Since as you can see, the buttons are in visible, forcing me to guess where they are and usually missing.

Well i got it on the first try, i uninstalled the update KB933928 and my system was fine after reboot, this is odd since this update supposedly has to do with improving the product acitivation and registration process. The microsoft info site about this update is [link="http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=933928"]HERE[/link]. I hope this helps everyone else too.

I am having the exact same problem as you guys. It effects my whole computer, explorer bars, taskbar, startmenu, IE explorer, Firefox, Opera. It's weird though, right-click menus work fine, they're transparent, and thats it. When i go into Vista's config to turn transparency back on it tells me that Desktop Composition Is Disabled. I am going to uninstall the windows updates i installed a few days ago because i just noticed this problem since i installed them. There was only 4, so I will uninsta
