Their job is to keep a look out for works that are un-qualified to be posted, one of which is no stolen pictures or using graphics copyrighted by someone else. maybe so, but if my friend tells me of a song I may like, I don't think I'm going to go buy that cd the song is in just to see if I like it. There are so many different types of music right now, plowing through it on a 56k modem isn't going to cut it for me, especially when I have to buy the time to actually surf... that's 150 USD per month on dialup... for 4-5 hours a day.

I still agree it's wrong to keep the songs if you didn't purchase them, but it gives many people a chance to look for songs that aren't so big on "names". For those with no music experience, that's also a way for them to find their ground and go from there Keeping it if you didn't buy it later is still wrong.

If you have some documentation from the company(s) telling you that you can use their graphics to make wallpapers or other things, then yes, you would be able to submit them. However, if you didn't ask for their permission, then no, you can't. It will only get deleted by the moderators when submitted, so best to just ask for permission first, and when you do, submit it and make a comment in there about having a mod contact you for permission listings. We actually had a thread going about warez debate, to which I found out a lot of problems with the community "void". Warez, like everything else, has a pro side and a con side. What I find astounding is the black and white "oh no, kazaa helps with warez, warez is evil, so kazaa is evil." What she may be asking for, as I can only guess, is for a bit more "softness" to the works that are being created. You know how you've got the dark, simplistic designs, the metallic ones, the many others which involves shapes. I think she may be looking for ones involving maybe butterflies, a more mountain/river themes, a more angelic themes, or maybe even roses by the windowsill.
