Eh It depends.. I can see the allfather's ring paying off greatly. I didn't do it in my game to be like "omfg we're up 100 kills and going to keep squashing you w/out going for the win.. woo crystal farming" the game was actually undecided at the point I got it (although it greatly turned the tide)

Well.. easy way to get some fast favor.. change the game options and do an ai match. lvl 20, filthy rich, fast spawn, fast game speed, low towers, high grunt strength, warscore 10, fast flag cap. Then do prison, buy giants, and walk up to take the valor flag. Now, you don't get favor for the ai, but you get favor for getting lvl 20 and / or winning a game with each demigod. The whole process takes under 2 minutes per win, so do it with each demigod once and see where y

eh the only thing is that builds successful in 1v1 aren't always the same builds that are successful in team matches, and vice versa.
so.. if it's begun, but we don't possibly don't have all the teams formed.. umm.. how do we know who's playing who? Edit: Oh.. umm.. just a free for all play against whoever? Curious as to how that will work out. What if one team just constantly plays other teams and acquires most wins just by playing more often :P
you don't absolutely need a mic. If you're looking for one in that range.. just stop by your local best buy or somethin :P Anything they have works fine.
ya I don't have the upload speed to stream and play. Ping was steady @ 700 in lobby alone.. then stopped stream, and down to normal. Glad it worked out for you though :P

you know what I'd like to see in this tourney? Some teams willing to go against each other using combos that dont necessarily max out their points and not having the other team be like "lol they picked shit let's pick the absolute best against that and smash them" i.e. had tons of fun playing reg / qot / beast mirror. Then again.. I guess I had a lot of fun playing a reg / beast / rook vs reg / beast / oak combo.. and both are acceptable as max point combos in the tourney.

eh the stereotype is based on truth.. I know a lot of computer science / engineering major gamers. Basically.. every single one in that major that I know games or gamed extensively. I just think you have it backwards. Just like all rectangles aren't squares, but all squares are rectangles.
I don't think there should be a cutoff date.. also I think if a team falls apart, it shouldn't prohibit one of the people on that team who still wants to play to play as an alternate. So.. for example.. say soccer and cow decided "fuck it.. I'd rather play SC2 and stop doin the tourney" .. you should still be allowed to be an alternate on another team after that point.
