moshi
i'd guess attractive females are rather happy that their inbox doesn't get flooded by creeps they don't even know.
Now, where to get the MSImport app is another topic. I have a copy from long ago. Dunno where it can be gotten.
it's still on Stardock's servers. https://forums.wincustomize.com/366658
Again, moshi: I reported the news as it appeared on CNN at 5:30 a.m. So I wrote it up and looked at Hold Security's website. I got the info out quickly to prevent (hopefully) damage from the spam/phishing/redirects I saw coming down the pike. ... If I was fooled, so were all the major news outlets (whose resources are a bit greater than mine). My motivation and concern is for the people here. I do it for free. I do
Well, I haven't heard of them before,
they don't list any customers on their website, so they might actually have none. it's just " Hold Security works with companies around the world". no hard facts. again. http://www.forbes.com/sites/kashmirhill/2014/08/05/huge-pa
How? You'd have to ask them. Before one signs up for the free 30 days, you can read their TOS . If you agree, you're taken to additional screens.
to be more precise (just in case you are using their service): is there some web app where you entered your passwords or did you send
The problem is, until the websites are SQL injection proof, changing passwords won't do all that much. It's good to find out which of the sites have been hacked and whether your password/user name have been hacked. That much is free with the 30 day protection Hold Security is offering.
so are you using their service? i am curious how this: [quote who

i'm not 100% convinced that something really happened. something looks fishy about this "almost everybody is affected, we don't provide hard facts, but you should buy our product" business plan. i might believe it when Russian media reports arrests. reminds me of those warnings of the antivirus industry about potential iOS-viri that just don't exist in reality. but still, if it works as a reminder to regularly change passwords that's fine.
yep. probably too late already, but consider the possibility that the trojan you just installed might have come from somewhere else.
an article from 1999: "How NSA access was built into Windows": http://www.heise.de/tp/artikel/5/5263/1.html ;) yes, if you want your date to be safe from your government, you'd have to think not only about the physical location of the servers, but also the location of the service provider. so if you're Chinese, better stay away from Baidu Pan, and if you're American think twice about usi
just recently we had some rallies here in Germany where people were shouting "gas the Jews" and "Jews, cowardly pigs". nobody was arrested, nobody will face consequences. but if you point out that there was hardly any ethnic German among those people, you will be labeled a racist and islamophobe. that's how this hate speech thing works here.
As has been stated by others, all of us actually do have something to hide . Anything that might seem to be unflattering in any way we would prefer to keep hidden from society at large. This presents a problem when someone (using which 'tools') must decide what is and what isn't just 'unflattering' beha
live tiles on the start menu doesn't make sense in my opinion. MS probably should create a notification center for their phone operating system first, and when they accomplished that, find a way to incorporate this into the desktop. the OSX Yosemite notification center looks pretty great, those tiles on the start menu are just sad.
Quoting moshi, reply 127 has there been a single Windowblinds skin buried in the personal pages in recent years? Yep, but I cannot remember which or by who they were made.
thanks for the answer. this seems to
Well, the only thing that confuses me is why, if you're not doing anything illegal or immoral, etc., would you even worry about this? If you are doing something illegal or immoral, etc., then you don't deserve any privacy in my opinion, and I sure hope you get caught by the very measures identified here.
Quoting moshi, reply 125 as one or two star rated skins don't seem to exist They do exist on the users personal pages.
has there been a single Windowblinds skin buried in the personal pages in recent years?
My just submitted skins deserved better than a three star rating I've had a close look at your skins and my honest opinion as a skinner is that 3 stars is being generous. WC needs at least one bipolar "artist", else it just wouldn't be the same. i am looking forward to his "i deserve to be a master"-phase, can't take much longer than a few months from now to occur.
why would you open (any) start menu or the "modern" dashboard a second, third, etc. time? just middle-click the taskbar icon.
if a single one-star rating has such an effect, the overall number of ratings on such a submission must be VERY low, what makes the the whole system worthless. maybe ratings should only show after a significant amount of ratings has been given. i'd probably give the majority of the Deskscapes section a one-star rating as well, the of original content there is marginal. but don't worry, i neither care enough, nor do i even know if Wincustomize actually works with my browser in
believing that the NSA isn't infiltrated is naive. the Russians wouldn't have granted Snowden asylum if the wouldn't already have known from other sources that his claims were true. ;)
Now, just how do they put them in the NSA computers, and does anyone think the NSA doesn't inspect (thoroughly) any computer it buys for such devices/software?
put it in after the inspection then.
