I want to know too... I hate spending a couple of days on a game only to find out I have to reply that last 5-10 turns just to submit my score.

The difficulty of Anamolous happens when you tweak the settings to much. I once created a party with a 2000% influence ability and one on impossible very quick, and it reported a difficulty of anamolous, because I a higher influence than was possible for that many turns.
Every time I try to blow up a planet with a Terror Star, my crasjes to the desktop... It pisses me off. I could blow up Planets fine 1.03... How am I supposed to discourage empires from going to war with me if I can't use my half dozen Terror Stars to level masses of his planets?
