Has the WB 5/6 IR-receiver bug been fixed in this one? I also ask this,I would rather know before I install WB6 again as I don't want to go through all of that BSOD rigmarole again. Is the IR receiver bug fixed? Thanks.

I'm bumping this as I got an answer from Mormegil after mailing him. The answer is yes they will be updated sometime round November which is good news. Dunno if anyone else is interested but anyway there you go.

Hey thanks for this Zoomba. I've used OOo for ages which is excellent,so I would hope this Lotus (as it is based on OOo) will be at least as good. I'm downloading now to give it a test drive.I must say though that the IBM site is painfully slow (2 1/2 hours left !) ,but I guess everyone's looking for freebies.

Because I'm the systems admin for many systems, not just my own, and because the users that use those systems many times have absolutely no clue what they should accept and install and what they shouldn't. Terpfan,surely then,this is not a software box checking/unchecking problem.I mean even my 10 year old nephew knows how to check/uncheck boxes to stop things installing which he doesn't want or isn't supposed to install.
