Maybe I have not done enough reading or maybe I am just missing something. I had uninstalled impulse a while ago because I thought it no longer worked after being sold. I read post here that people are still using it to verify installations and update. So out of curiosity I downloaded impulse again and checked my software. Here is where it gets interesting. I verified wb and it came up that I needed an update ( show prerelease versions unchecked). I clicked to update and I get a messa

I did not read all the replies but could my success with the update be attributed to a fresh install. I downloaded on a clean system with no previous WB installs. So far I have not had any problems. I am not suggesting to reformat your drives. I am simply asking if perhaps my new install is the reason why I have not experienced the problems others have.

I don't get it. Life treats me backwards then most, (does that make sense?) I use to have issues with various software and when I mentioned it in the forums people thought I had hash brownies for breakfast. I installed the update and my WB could not be working any smoother. Go figure.

It use to work great for me using Windows 7 64bit but lately its been freezing up on me. I even uninstalled it but a fresh install did not solve the problem. I might have another issue to though because sometimes PS5 freezes also.

Heigar I almost bought the Makita set because it had a cordless jigsaw and grinder but it was double the price of what I paid for the Milwaukee set. Plus I have a Dewalt corded jigsaw and a grinder so thought I would save myself some cash. I bought a Milwaukee 2 piece 5 years ago (drill and impact driver) and gave it to my father. Its still going strong so I have a lot of confidence in Milwaukee stuff.

Thanks Doc. I have gloves and goggles in my toolbox and always wear the goggles when cutting wood. Where are everyone else's new purchases? I did not intend this to be just about me. Show off your new car or boat or even those new shoes.

OK I am not usually a show off but I am as happy as a kid in a candy store with my new Milwaukee tools. Part of my job is building decks with my uncle and I had been using Hitachi tools. I decided it was time to invest in quality so I got this set. The only thing is in spite my uncle having his own tools he likes to use mine. I guess he will just have to continue using the Hitachi stuff because this is mine! <img src="http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/8826/dscf2831q.jpg" alt="" width
