I'd also like for mega events to work for multiplayer if possible. That dlc along with this crisis of worlds from what I read gives the galaxy more life to it. Without Mega events multiplayer feels kinda dead since there is not much going on in between the building up phase before things really start getting heated with wars and other things. As such I hope mega events and crisis of worlds would both work for multiplayer.

And will these updates effect multiplayer in anyway?
I'd like to also add that from my perspective diplomacy seems to be very stale in that there is not much to do outside of trading and even then its like pulling teeth to even get one deal passed unless you have high tech that is way above their means. Heck trading planets/ships/starbases do not seem to add much weight to trading. Three of my planets was not even worth one...starbase and I am in ok standing with this faction. Back to diplomacy why not have what is already there have a gr

Will the new update and/or dlc see any changes to multiplayer. I do hope it works for multiplayer unlike mega events which doesn't, or at the very least work on making multiplayer more stable than before. These are my own two cents since I mainly play the game for multiplayer. I find it boring playing against only the AI unless I'm trying something out. I'd like to also add that from my perspective diplomacy seems to be very stale in that there is not much to do outside
On the bright side there were a lot of quality of life stuff added in and the multiplayer was touched on a bit which I'm happy about. My friend and I will be trying a new playthrough to see how it goes. Hopefully this time we will be able to finish our game. On another note mega events should really be added to multiplayer since they are such a big feature.

Interesting story and it fits nicely with my own custom story in which I based around my 8 custom factions. It deals with way into the future where Humanity has conquered the known galaxy under a federation type government. All non human races are either second class citizens or otherwise forcefully kept to their homeworld, in such cases if these races had previously any colonies they would be long gone and under human control. Anyway my custom story deals with the shattering of the federatio
Heck we can go even further with this and have these trade routes between planets be an integral part of a faction's economy.
Oh! There can even be a couple of main quest lines that can be only for your specific civilization/faction and as for the custom races it can be allowed to choose one of them as the main quest line that best fit the background lore of the custom faction.

While I like the main points of this expansion. I am wondering if this expansion will be fixing any of the issues with multiplayer instability? And if not will you be planning on fixing it up so that a playthrough no longer ends with a crash. Since sadly that is the main issue that my friend and I have had. The game either crashes at the host's 2nd turn, or on the host's 2nd turn we find that it is impossible to continue without restarting from our last auto save. And that usually fixes that,
