I don't see how Civ fanboyz couldn't be the worst. They are backed by 2k which I believe stacks the deck using shills. These people are there 24-7 to post immediately if you post a dissenting remark. Most aspire to work there, are beta testers, or other types of coders. I found one guy who was actually a beta tester there. His name is Dale. He can say whatever he wants to you in response to your post, but when you reply back even briefly it is t

Forum participation is a critical function for any developer...and as gmot just mentioned, even the CEO here takes time to keep us updated on their progress. That is "Class A" work in my book. -.-
You seem to have a remarkable sense of entitlement.
Most hard-core Civ players do. [e digicons]:D[/e] Also note, that in the time I had at the 2k forums (roughly 2 months), Mr Shafer did not make a post, and from what I noticed only 1 Firaxis dev posted one comment about some patch. A Firaxis policy, no doubt. Civ V fans there were, for the most part, very unhappy with the post-release support and overall game mechanics. No
Impulse just updated my Elemental game. Anyone have any information on this recent update? [e digicons]:dur:[/e]
Quoting aeligos, reply 18 I would love to see how the 2k Civ V Forum is reacting to this news......but I am currently under a 10 day ban (ending 8 January) because I was promoting Elemental War of Magic and Stardock Corp. -.-That makes sense (banning). If promoting viagra, cell phones and such is not allowed, why should they allow promotion (that not casual mentioning) of a game by another company? Not saying if

If I press my scroll wheel, the game minimizes and then the desktop is in view. If I press the wheel again, the game maximizes but crashes with some dx error. My mouse is kaput, I suppose, and I can't bind a different key to manipulate the map either. As a result, I now have torticollis for having the my head positioned at a constant angle while playing..and I can't get a 360-degree view of my cities or Sovereign. [e digicons]:hugm
Playtime = Mac. Check. Productivity = PC. Check. Inefficiency all around. Check mate. With molecular computing, perhaps [it] will 'learn' how to do play and work simultaneously. -.-
Impulse still has one more day of its holiday sale (ends 3 Jan). I have checked it every night these past two weeks to see what's newly low. But sadly, none of my fav 3 made it to the low. [e digicons]:'([/e] One more day I guess. I hope that at least 1 of my 3 picks will go on sale...all 3 of them could (and would with the simple a keystroke), but very unlikely all in one day. Otherwise I'll keep waiting...and waiting...and waiting...

Hmm I don't even remember my Coleco vision games. We had no computer in the home then. In fact, the first computer I had was an HP that I purchased when I moved out and got married at 26. Two years later I kept the computer but dumped the girl as she was buggy as hell. [e digicons]O:)[/e]

Register the serial number with Impulse before updating. This link may be of help: https://forums.stardock.com/382846 -.-
When a game is unplayable, it must first be turned "on". When a game is on and unplayable, then the problem is with the person's mind, and not with the game itself. ------ Regarding the expansions, yes 1 or 2 free. [e digicons]:dur:[/e] If game was purchased before 1 Nov 2010, then you get 2 expansions. If game was purchased on or after 1 Nov 2010, but before 1 Jan 2011, then you get 1 expansion. Too bad that there is an expiration date on it. [e digicons][/e] Well, as far as games go, I have no idea what to recommend. But if you don't already have it, I would suggest a Stardock product for Windows... I think PC > Mac. I also think Impulse > Steam. Further I think the OP's troubles would end if Mac produced machines that ran Windows stuff -- not the other way around. I also seem to think that the OP would be at peace if he'd submit to Microsoft. Dear OP..., be one of us. -.-
Hang tight folks. I believe stardock may be on holiday but there are people floating around here that know tech stuff. -.-
