Never mind. Whatever I received when I clicked on "Download", was NOT Fences6. (fences_public.exe?), is not Fences6. A day later I received the License Key and a different download. This one worked. But all of my prior fences are gone, and I will need to spend a few hours creating all new fences.
OK, I downloaded fences, installed it, and.... WHERE IS IT? All of my existing fences have disappeared, and my screens are full of shortcut icons. Why can't I restore my fences? Why can't I create any new fences?
I entered my email and got the discounted upgrade, when I went to checkout the discount disappeared. I went ahead and paid the higher price on PayPal, and then, what?? Where do I download Fences6?
Does installing Fences6 upgrade my earlier version, or do I have to create all new fences?
Still no Linux or Raspian client support? You can't imagine the market you are missing out on.
Where are the instructions for using Groupy?

I would like a way to apply a view change to all fences. I have about 20 fences across three screens (I know, a bit much), and if I change my background image to one where a different opacity would help the readability, I have to change them all individually now. A radio button to "Apply changes to all fences" would be nice.
Suggestion for Stardock Fences: When a rolled-up fence drops down, can it be on top? I don't like moving open items on my desktop just to access the contents of a fence. That sort of defeats the benefits of Fences.

Suggestion: Search . Really, I have three screens and sometimes Windows will move an icon. I can't do a restore fences because I have added a few programs since the last layout save. Here's how it could work. If I search, for example, for "Photo", then hide all icons *except* for any with "photo" in its name. So, I would see icons for "Photoshop", "Photo Viewer", My Photo", etc. You get the idea...

I am having the same problem. Fences had worked nicely for years, then my HDD crashed and everything had to be reinstalled, including Windows 10 Pro. I did reinstall Fences, twice. I removed Fences and the problem went away. I miss having Fences.
I just installed Fences 3, and now I am getting random black squares on my desktop, and occasionally black background when switching to a new desktop page. I really like Fences and have been using it since Version 1, but if this can't be fixed than I will have to stop using it.
