Draginol: In reference to the question and your reply - Does that mean that if I format a drive and although my subscription has expired that I would still use the Stardock Central interface to download the applications I had and paid for? Stardock would recognize that my subscription expired but let me download the older version that I had? When my friend showed me how he uses Stardock Central w/his ODNT subscription what I noticed is that the insta

i LOVE desktopX but haven't purchased it b/c i feel like there isn't a real community behind it. other than martin and a few others there isn't a whole lot of good development. i use the weather object, uptime object and date/time object. i use rainlendar for my calendar. besides those objects i don't see the great objects/widgets that konfab has and i wish it did. my biggest gripe is that desktopX is an incredible app w/not a lot of truely useful

Sorry for not posting in so long. This is a quick update just to let anyone know who's watching that I'll be making a full update in the next day or two. The reason for my lack of posting is that I had some second thoughts about "blogging." I've always felt that having a blog is somewhat vain and I've also felt that people probably don't really care what the averag

hmm. i think i'll stay on it for at least 2 months and then slowly integrate some things back into my diet but in a moderate way(plus add exercise). i know a lot of people who have been really successful on this diet so it's something i want to stick with and give a fair shake. i'm going to stay on it but not for too long b/c i know it can cause some health issues. in reference tot he food choices, i wouldn't mind a few more but i'm the kind of person who could eat chicken for dinner every n

Today is Sunday, February 1st, and the first day of my Atkins diet. I had an Atkins vanilla shake for breakfast. We bought a couple of packs of them from GNC. We did my my initial stats so I can gauge my progress. I'm 6'1, 222lbs and using my wife's body fat gauge I have 22.6% body fat. We also measured my chest, waist and hips and took pics. We'll do this each week.

I mentioned in an earlier post about Subway offering Atkins wrap sandwiches. Here's the info from subway.com. This will definitely make getting a bite to eat while out and in a hurry much easier. "On December 29, Subway® Restaurants will offer two Atkins® Nutritionals, Inc.-endorsed low-carbohydrate wraps: the Turkey and Bacon Melt Wrap, with Monterey cheddar cheese, and the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap, with Swiss cheese. Both Atkins® -Friendly Wraps, available in the U.S. and Canada, ha

Is it possible to add a health category? Who would you ask for something like that? I've started to blog my experiences w/going on the Atkins Diet and it would be nice to put it in a Health category rather than Misc. Any chance of adding this?

Went to dinner tonight and thought about how dinners out would be different if I'm on the Atkins. We went to a TexMex place and I had chicken fajitas. I love the fajitas and knowing I won't be able to eat that kills me. I also love mashed potatoes and I won't be able to have them either. No beans or rice either...during dinner I decided we probably won't be going out for dinner much while I'm on the diet. It sort of takes the fun out of things when pretty much all I can have is meat, greens

I've decided to go on the Atkins Diet. I'm 6'1 and 220 pounds. I could stand to lose a good 20 pounds and possibly 30. I would consider myself to be overweight but certainly not obese. I don't feel like I look as good as I could plus it's not healthy to have this extra weight. I eat reasonably well. My wife makes a good healthy dinner every night but I do have a habit of snacking. I've always been athletic, playing soccer, lacrosse, basket, football and baseball growing up.

Why do I always read reviews that Logitech was the first to make an optical mouse? I was using an optical mouse in 1996 on my Sun Solaris machine and I'm sure they had optical mice out before then. Does "first to market" mean Logitech was the first to mass produce optical mice and sell to PC users? I've never been able to understand that.
