This could be a permissions issue. Can you please follow this link in Internet Explorer: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/stardock_access.bat save the file, right click it and select "Run as Administrator" if you're on Vista/Windows 7, just run it if you're on XP. This may solve your issue.
Try adding exceptions in or disabling temporarily your security software to allow LogonStudio to run correctly and see if the issues persist.
There are known compatibility issues between Fences and Deskscapes on Windows XP. You should be fine if you are using Vista/7. Does stopping then starting explorer resolve the issue? Have you restarted your PC since the Deskscapes installation?

You should be able to right-click on the icon and select "Exclude this icon from Fences' quick-hide".
Does this occur with both video dreams and dynamic dreams? I haven't had a problem with Deskscapes 3.2 and my NVIDIA drivers. We'll certainly take note and keep a look out for others having this problem. For the time being, try reverting to the drivers that last worked correctly.
