1.) This isn't a problem. 2.) The software is yours for as long as you decide to keep it 3.) Generally, you will get minor version updates for free. When new major versions come out, we usually have a lower upgrade price for previous owners. You can keep your old version, but it may not necessarily be compatible with newer operating systems.

You can change this globally in Windows, but this is not a setting in Fences. To do this in Windows Vista/7, go to Start -> Control Panel -> Folder Options and select click items as single click, then click ok. In XP, you can get to Folder Options from an explorer window via View -> Folder Options.

Try following this link in Internet Explorer (Firefox and other browsers do no handle the file type correctly): 32 bit: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/install_weather.bat 64 bit: http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/install_weather_64.bat save the file and run it from your machine (right click and run as administrator for Vista) and follow it's instructions. This should resolve the issue.
