Well , it's after 5:00 Pm , and after an entire day Stardock support still can't fix an activation problem. Really ?

That solution did not work. It still is not accepting my account information. I did not purchase the product through my Stardock account. Seriously ?? ---- is it this much trouble just to activate software I've owned for a couple years just because my real name and email was used for the original purchase ?? THIS IS NUTS !!!!
Yes Doc , I thought of that myself, but no luck there unfortunately.
I will be quite honest & up front and say that at the present moment, I'm quite angry at Stardocks support team. Seriously, how long does it take to fix an activation problem. Are you that swamped with support tickets ? I believe the support ticket that I submitted has been in your hands for plenty of time to be resolved ,and yet, not a word. As angry as I am, I am going to remain civil here and mention that this is one of, and the most important reason

When deciding whether I needed to renew my Object Desktop subscription for another year, I decided to check my Stardock Downloads archive and Object Desktop Manager to be sure I had everything archived properly ,including all SERIAL NUMBERS. When right clicking to show serial number for pasting to clipboard , all that is displayed is the OEM number, which of course is the same for all the software included in the Object Desktop Suite. This is troubling for me.
It does the same for me and has been that way for as long as I have been a subscriber. A little annoying , yes , but then again, I don't PM very often, so no big deal for me.
My MalwareBytes program tagged the "Customizer God" as a threat and Quarantined it. Just sayin'... -Ace -
Great choice on the tower. Here's my NZXT that I have had for a few years now. Very good quality towers.
I am running Windows 8.1 and realized that it is a permissions issue. What worked for me was to change the security settings for every .exe file in the Stardock folder for ALLOW ALL APPLICATIONS to allow everything, same as administrator settings. Then I used the registry tweak "Take Ownership" to take ownership of the Windows directory and the Program Data\Microsoft\ directory (It's a hidden folder). Once I had done that, all icons,
Congrats everyone , thanks for all your talented work. [e digicons]:star:[/e] -- Ace --
I started using Chrome because I was tired of the Internet Explorer random crashes & vulnerabilities. In the article, it states that "Spartan" will still be vulnerable. Hmmm... I guess I'm confused. How is this "better". If I am to forsake Chrome , I want to know that not only will this new browser be a better performer, but will also be safer. Isn't that what we all want ? I'm going to try to reign in my excitement over this latest development.
Congratulations Andy !! [e digicons]:star:[/e] [e digicons][/e] -- Ace --
Forget about what I said above. I changed to Chrome themes and it's fine. Tried five different ones and all good. Maybe I had some wrong theme on it. Who knows it's fine again.
Chrome Themes ? Where do I find that ? EDIT: o.k. , never mind I found it. Wow , I learned something new today. In all the time I have been using
That same problem exists in Chrome browser as well , but I refuse to go back to Internet Explorer. I'm hoping that perhaps some day they may find a remedy for it. -- Ace --
Log out of ODM and then back in. They will be there then.
O.K. ,that worked. Everything is back to normal ,thank-you so much I really appreciate it. -- Ace --
O.K. , success....I was at least able to finally get a ticket submitted thankfully. I'm happy about that at least , now I'll just be patient and I'm sure they can fix things from here. It's been a stressful start for my day today, but I want to thank you fellas for jumping on here and keeping me focused, I sincerely appreciate all of you. -- Ace --
O.K , thanks guys , I'm going to give it another shot at trying to contact Stardock support. Stand by and I'll let you know how it goes in a bit. -- Ace --
Actually , I had to move into damage control and create another account at my hosting site and I scrambled to dig up some local images that I still had stored on my computer so as to cover some of the preview links I had listed for my different packages, but a vast majority of them no longer exist, and the links come up as blank pages. Quite a loss in terms of the quantity of images that I had. Thank-you for your support though Tom, I appreciate it.
I don't know what is going on. I'm not even able to send anything to Stardock support , as it rejects it and says my login information is invalid, therefore I have no recourse but to post here and see if it can be resolved. My object Desktop manager says I have no subscription to Wincustomize or to Object Desktop and has no listing of any of my software to download, it's just a blank list. I was also contacted by the Administrators of my image hosti

Was there a specific reason to resurrect this thread after 2 years of no activity ? [e digicons]o_O[/e]
I really like the 3D menu , and the color combo makes for a good contrast. The wallpaper brings it all together nicely. [e digicons]:)[/e] [e digicons][/e] -- Ace --
This problem exists in Chrome browser as well when using the Windowblinds 7 version. Don't know if it has been corrected in the Windowblinds 8 version , but I prefer the 7 version because I actually think it's much easier to navigate and for me it seems to be more stable, so I'm inclined to put up with the inconvenience on that basis. -- Ace --
Don't feel lonely, as of late I have been experiencing the same problem, it even extended to the Windows 10 Preview OS. I'm back with Windows 7 now and something definitely got messed up as my explorer backgrounds are doing some wanky things now.
