buildings beeing so much smaller than the units looks awful and maps look weird as well in comparison to the enlarged units. tbh. it looks alot like a mobile game like this.

nice, cant wait for a proper sequel (probably ashes how it should have been) ps. how can i see if i am a founder, i guess if i bought the game at release through steam i am not.
You are doing some great work with the games balance, i am glad you joined the Ashes team
does anyone know a solution for the DX12 panning bug?
i hope we ll get a fix soon :)
cant wait to play the reworked campaign :)
what does "Gravity effects applied to units in their own phase" mean?
imho this game needs more manpower the game has to grow faster or people may lose interest (even possible buyers!)
first, thanks for the update now i think i found a bug, i played the last mission of the campaign and even on hard the enemy AI isnt building anything :(
Now that Ashes is out and successful, we can iterate on it. If people are currently turned off by it for some reason, that's fine. There's always sequels or what have you. Unless someone else shows up with a next generation RTS engine, it's unlikely anything is going to overtake it.
does
To get an "overwhelmingly positive" rating (and you do want that right?) you can't just be the best RTS, you have to try to be one of the best games ever. Ashes has the bones to be top notch amongst all games, and I fear you are aiming low hoping just to be the best RTS game, which in today's field is like saying you hope to be the best Dodge (zing). If I have $50 to spend on a single
guys... SupCom is dead... even the modding community is barely alive let Ashes (which is in it`s current state a good game and i am a very critical person, played Grey Goo, Act of Aggression etc. and dont like them) evolve Stardock is independent since 20! years, mainly developing Strategy Games there are so many RTS Developers (BIG succesfull ones) which got closed Westwood Studios, GPG, Ensemble Studios, Stainless Steel Studios etc. &nb
Quoting Frogboy, reply 27 If that were the case there'd be no SupCom. SupCom's specs were far far higher than Ashes for its time. With the added encumbrance that the engine was unable to u
Quoting Ysondria, reply 26 i love RTS, i like ashes, it can be even better after few months, but i think there are still one reason it will die fast, too high specs required for what people get, simple as that.. [e digicons]:([/e] i like ur ambicious goals with this game .. bu
definitily one of the best reviews out there
haha, good one [e digicons]^_^[/e]
and more sales = more DLC sold so think about it to drop the price to 39,99$/€
to those guys thinking, you can compare Ashes with Stellaris NO, NO NO NO NO Ashes is a traditional RTS game your main objective is to build up your economy/army and destroy your enemies Stellaris is a 4x game where you mostly build your empire and do the other 4X things you cant even control your battles yourself, everything is automated it is like comparing a Shooter and Minecraft because both are played in first person&n
well written post, thank you now some things i want to point out about it 1. Reviews i was a nostalgia guy as well until i played Ashes long enough to fell in love with it (therefore giving it a positive review on steam and may sign up on metacritic as well) a shame there are so many negative reviews from ppl who havent even scratched the surface of the game (steam needs some limitations for reviews, like a certain amount time play
yep, definitely their Drivers (980ti here)
some nice ideas
good news and congratulations to the good sale numbers i think as long as those DLCs arent affecting gameplay or multiplayer (which could split the community) those free DLCs for early adopters are fine.
Draginol, if you want some inspiration for better graphical effects, just look at Bailknights Graphics mod for Sins of a Solar Empire https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/368651
so many changes already... NICE btw. is it possible to increase the range of brutes and the equivalent from the substrates? i dont like those blobbing knife fights, looks a bit weird ^^
