Your computer's "C" drive, "Programs" (or "Programs(x86) in Vista or Win7), "Stardock Games", "Sins of a Solar Empire", String". Also in the "Entrenchment" and "Diplomacy" folders at that same location. Right click the String file and select "open with" and choose "Notepad".

But I really do want your moons and you did a good job here. You deserve more than six karma. What's wrong with these people? I need more sleep too I think. But I really do have a 3D Vasari on a space pony.

I notice you can add planet bonuses with a chance of occurring--is there any way to specify for a particular planet that specific planet bonuses be excluded? If so, it would be very helpful. Would be a nice feature in rebellion.

Lol and thanks. I am setting up a frakkin ' huge website with sms interactivity and individual user account areas and blah blah blah--makes brain melt (don't tell the zombies!). So then, in my enhanced state of mental decay instead of sleeping I tinker with Sins modding which finishes off the few brain cells I have left. I don't remember making that model or posting this. I think it's government mind control. Still.... I AM THE VIRTUAL PROGENITOR OF THE VIRTUAL 3D VASA

Truly sir--you are a genius and all others should bow before you...well..before you and me. They can bow to us. We can put my Vasari statue on orbit around Vasari worlds now--muwahahahaha. Can you also add stars and green clover? I'm always after those ya know.

Realizing it's a tough room I decided to take it up a notch with an improvement all the boys and girls will love--not to mention showing a rare image never before seen... Vasari on a Space Pony! Now it's double diamonds.

Lol--it's a free Google app. I use it to convert file types sometimes for my Makerbot. And look at all the pictures--the geometry is off too. There aren't any solid, consistent, multiple views of these guys. So this is an abstract. It seems Vasari modify themselves for colonization and that would rationalize the varying depictions of them. In my model, this one is wearing boots and a partial exoskeleton along with skin tight clothing and a combat helmet

Ok, I'm not a great modeler and it's not really textured but here's a pic of a model of a Vasari as I noticed no model or even a picture of a model is to be found on the net. It's not michelangelo--just a decent representation...and from the crappy pics that don't match there isn't a lot to go on. Done in Milkshape and Sketchup--I'm uploading the model to Sketchup as there are no Sins models ther

A question--if a ship hull is shared as a universal between races can the components (ship bridges and engine pods, etc. be utilized differntly on each model? Say all ships of a class have "Hull-A" but each race has a different model for the bridge and engines and the like. Will that work?

I think novice modders can be intimmidated by a two part install with unfamiliar programs that then have to be manually loaded and organized. Noob modders won't even necessarily know what it's for. Experienced modders/devs/prgrammers always say, "Why do I need____ when I have a text editor?" [e digicons]O:)[/e] If you have ever watched the show "Pitchman" where they have inventors bring their products to an infomercial guru and he evaluates their salability you'll s

Take this as a bump--I think the ships are limited by the hard code in the game--though the expansion will increase the number. I may be wrong so wait for an expert response.

P.S. Try topic headings such as, "Naked Pics Here!" and "Giving away one free iPad"--packs 'em into the threads. I actually think your tool is what people will be using five years from now when they are modding Sins because of it's functionality.

USB 3.0 is fully implemented now--meaning new comps will routinely roll off the line with compatability for it. Some of the first version boards may have issue with later hardare such as external dvds/hard drives. Which brings me back to LightPeak. USb 3.0 is finally "ubiquitous" and in about a year...it will begin to become dated by "Light Peak". I am NOT an early adopter unless it really provides something essential (I did voip when it first began). About the
