Ability modding for the 'verse would be pretty basic. It's getting the Firefly models done and with enough variety to make it work that will be a challenge.

Corvettes also were intended to be multi-role...not just anti-titan. Unfortunately the lag issues, exploits and changes morphed them so much they don't really achieve their original purpose--a cheap garrison ship and quick build fleet that could defend assets or be thrown into a pitched battle to turn the tide.

And the stellar examples of other fantastic shows on TV is just overwhelming. Firefly can't hold a candle to them. Wipeout and Big Brother are just in a league of their own and let's not forget Glee. Wow--the bar is raised so high. Some great episodes that showed some of the promise of the show are, Out of Gas, Ariel, Our Mrs. Reynolds and Objects in Space. It's original science fiction--not regurgitated themes that have been done a million time

Hehe--I was already thinking about that. Scary thing is, the "voluntary suicide" centers in Soylent Green are scarily plausible today as "humane" options for people. There is a very old Firefly Freelancer mod that did some of the Reaver ships, the firefly and shuttles and an Alliance fighter or two--I might be able to dig it up and check as well. You would definitely want to set the scenario as during the Browncoat war for independence and there is a cannon set of stats somewhere for the Browncoat's weaponized version of the firefly.
