Jafo, there are no region or other hacks on my DVD drive, nor any similar software running on my AMC 3200+ processor PC, which I built about a year ago. My machine should be more than current enough to handle the game. We're just being abused by Eidos, and companies like them. Just started to look around the forums to see if other people were having this problem too, and this is my first hit. I've had to unload Windowblinds on my main PC because of this problem, almost exactly as described - parts of windows not updating properly, showing the contents of windows either underneath them or that were dragged across them.
