So this is either embarassing or not possible. For the past hour I'm trying to set tile yields in the editor. The best option seems to be tile modifiers in the objects menu. However that only leaves a purple square with the label mod on it and doesn't show anything in game. Am I doing something wrong or is it simply not possible? The latter seems improbable, somehow you have to be able to do it in order to create maps from scratch but I can't figure it out for the life of me.

Ok i take that back, after editing the resolution into the Prefs.ini it starts now.
Nope same crash with latest drivers. Btw given the release date of win7, even the drivers that came with it should be newer than what the game needs. And of course i will set the resolution to that of my desktop since that is the native resolution of my monitors, ONCE i get to a point where i can set it. As i statet in my post: it crashes on STARTUP. Besides i highly doubt that is the reason.
When started through impulse or using the executables in the folders twilight and DA crash on startup, The GC2 Dreadlords exe works surprisingly.
