Coming out of a long hibernation just to say this: FE and its universe has a great deal of potential and it'd be a crying shame to see you all move past it. If EWOM was where FE was at release, then FE would be a classic, that's how much you improved it. The game isn't there yet, but you obviously learned a lot from EWOM and I imagine just as much from FE. Stick with it. You're almost there... Let's see what this expansion does. Then we'll reevalu

Hey all, Been away from the forums for a while. Been doing what I can to help Stardrive (possibly the new sci-fi 4X king) with its beta and have been quite consumed by it. I did a quick search to see if there has been any talk on the expansion planned for next year and didn't see anything. Is there any information on it yet? I admit that while I do like FE, there still seems to be something missing for me. I've put in well over 10

You can definitely just ignore that completely, if you don't like it. Seriously. I almost NEVER use it. I think they've really put a little distance from that feature, too. You can take control, if you want, but you can play the game well without EVER using that feature.

I'm sorry, brother Sean, but I really don't think that 90% of the draw for this game is modding. I have never used a mod and may never use one. I have always been a vanilla player of EVERY SINGLE GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED, save for FFH. And this game is no different. I'd be willing to bet that these guys are more interested in their vanilla game being judged than its modability. Just sayin. I hear your mods are fantastic, though, so I might check them out one day...<
