Great! Thanks for your very useful reply. I first tried the Asus tool, but it won't work on non-Eee-PCs (and I own a Samsung netbook). The french tool works nicely. They have rewritten the original "personalize" pages (with sometimes funny translations) of Windows and let you change your background, besides other personalizations. Change Wallpaper on Windows 7 Starter without changing the theme in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

Hello, I just got my new, sweet Netbook today and was very angry that I can not change the wallpaper. My question now is whether I can change the wallpaper using WindowBlinds WITHOUT changing the look and feel of windows and all other applications. I'd like to keep the original theme, since I like it and don't want it changed. If this is possible, the USD 20,00 are worth it. Kind regards, Daniel
