Torch Bearer - few things about him. in Demigod Strategies Demigod Forums

Ok, so... This is my first guide/thoughts/summary about such kind of thing (demigod Torch Bearer), so you are free to blame me for whatever mistakes I made [e digicons]:grin:[/e] (I'd prefer as much disagreement with me as possible). I am not the best Torch Bearer player nor am good overall, but I just wanted to share some of my thoughts, to help some new players (if they read this). Moreover I just wanted to write this for fun and maybe some discussions ^_^

It was funny to me even though again we played against same opponents and again lost against them [e digicons]:grin:[/e] . Had small problems with pings, but game wasn't laggy + ppapanek with kira played great as always ^_^ The only thing I didn't like is that site got problems... So didn't see any results/upcoming matches. I hope that gets fixed. yeah... :( I thought about him good too until recently... And just wanted to test his 1v1 and here... Host exploit... Also I was surprised by his too good stats, so thought maybe he got good... Warning Kilingspring exploiting in Demigod Multiplayer Demigod Forums

Just wanted to warn people to be careful when joining Kilingspring's 1v1 matches called "1v1 fast only reg or demon". If you are losing to him, everything will go fine. But if you're winning, he will just leave the game, making that don't count. If you need a proof I can upload a replay of the game, which happened few minutes ago and which didn't count for me (1v1 oak vs oak). Also, I think he started doing this since recently Februrary 16 (maybe found a way how to do that by then).

I personally don't care about the rules. Even if only one demigod is allowed I would play (yes... even ub...). As for TB I also was thinking, why someone like Queen, Sedna are alowed to double and TB isn't. But it's fine to me ^_^

I have encountered people with these problems, however cannot remember what exactly fixed them. As for voice problem, fix might be - going to demigod\sounds\EN_VOICE_UPDATE.exe. It might give an error or maybe not (I remember it giving one, but it still did fix it).

Well anyway, I won't participate in it, because need to prepare a bit for that 2v2 tourney, etc. + I don't like to be the only human on a team. 2 + AI would be better. Well maybe next time.

I suspect this is just so we each get a place. 1. Zen god + Pacov 2. Sazonov + Jonn 3. Kira + Ppapanek 4-5 Nnnils + jongalt or Darkliath + Insidious. Actually it doesn't matter who is 4th and who is 5th, but still... Might be good for semifinals though to get a 3rd team (both losers play one more match [e digicons]:grin:[/e] )

Ok, so about this whole system. I think it is great, but requires someone to explain few things (haven't checked forums there, maybe there are explanations on how to form a team, join tournament, how it works, etc). Also about those team formings...
