Although it's getting a bit OT ... FileHippo, and other sites like it, are on twitter. I get daily messages on software updates and then check them out on the programs original sites. I do use Secunia PSI which informs about patches for my installed programs, it downloads patches from the programs(sites) file servers. Winstep was nice enough to notify me itself
Thanks a lot
Yeah, it does: Not all "download" sites are equally trustworthy. They can get infected through no fault (or due to careless security) of their own. Of course the original site is the most trustworthy (although they can get infected as well, especially if the software are some very pop

I get regular updates from them on software I've downloaded.
You can get the same, or even better, from Hippo; just using the UpdateChecker http://www.filehippo.com/updatechecker/ . Not perfect (there is no software resource site that has got ALL exisisting progs available...) , but very, very good...

Agreed. btw, Giz: are you planning (I really hope so) a Mezzanine Winstep? Besides, what do you think about a Titans Forge (Xiandi) Winstep and/or a Neptune (Vampothika) one? I know you made ObjectDock Background for Neptune, why not a Winstep? You also given a great contribution to Dark and Dirty (Xiandi) Winstep. Why not for Titans Forge? These are skins I really would like to see, and, in my opinion, well deserved from the matching WB. Of course, if you got enou

Harley, you have done right now for Kinger the one that could be good for me!!!! BLACK background inside orb, easy to read letters (because of CONTRAST with black), and you could put both COLOURED MASKS like in my previous avatar!! Please, can you make it?please, please,.... btw, here is my previous avatar (in case you don't have it ) <img style="vertical-align: text-bottom; border: 0; margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px;" src="http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/

in my opinion, in this case the main point is not how good a firewall is , but if it has got a Gaming Profile settings option or not.At the moment, the only one I know with this feature is Kaspersky firewall, integrated in Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 and now in the first 2012 version (released just now). <img style="vertical-align: text-bottom; border: 0; margin-top: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px;" src="http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/4986/gamingprofile.png" alt="" width="738" hei

Main point is there is no CONTRAST between Black and the other colours (orb's upper part border is grey as well as letter's border). A different orb's design, more similar to Jazzi's one or even your's (just some examples...) could "fit" better

Good luck for all your projects, Kitty. Your art is definitely a deserving one... I'm sure (oh, well, I really hope..) you will not forget about WinC, and sometime you will give to the Community some other "jewels"... Hope you will get what you deserve, and you will be happy doing your new "job". P.S. don't forget to post a link to your daz creations...

I already knew about that, Doc. There has been other thread on the same issue on WC forum as well. I disabled since a while WebGL in Pale Moon (Chrome is not installed in my machines). Hope they will find a kind of solution before stable release (they could even think about implementing support in a next browser's version , because to fix WebGL vulnerabilities big changes are required), otherwise it will be necessary to disable WebGL in Opera 11.5 final as well.

The tool looks interesting, Doc. Just a question: what do you think about Wise Registry Cleaner Free http://www.wisecleaner.com/wiseregistrycleanerfree.html ?
