Windows 7 Taskbar vs Objectdock in Docks WinCustomize Forums

I've been using Objectdock before Vista even came out but around the time when Windows 7 was coming in RCs and RMTs, I stopped using Objectdock because I had fallen in love with the new taskbar. Is there any point in using Objectdock when I can just use the Windows 7 Taskbar instead? I mean I can put all those dock shortcuts onto my Windows 7 Taskbar and even customize it's icon. I don't think I really need tools like weather and time because I already have Rainmeter and gadgets on my
