Everyone has their own tastes and it is OTT to demand conformity, or belittle others because their's are different. My response was excessive to hammer that point home. If you put down people because they have different tastes, you should not be surprised when they take offense and insult you back.

Surely it is time for some of you to face the facts tha Xp is over ten years old and is yesterdays technology and it is time to put it out to pasture. Windows 7 is the best version of the OS that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. My experience does not go back as far as others but I

I will briefly explain my problem with your post and then stop talkign about it all together as I drop the subject. I have no problem with you giving me your thoughts on the games that are on the list and whether you would have replaced certain games by others and furthermore giving me your experiences of whatever games you may have played, etc. The issue lies with the fact that your post simply

If so I suggest you wait a few more years until you are passed adolescence before making comments about maturity and `growing up`.[/quote] And what "guidelines" are you talking about? Your heading asks for opinions on the game rankings, but it doesn't say don't post disagreements about the worthlessness

From the Gamespot article: "The moderator then asked if publishers should spend a lot of money developing enemy AI. Shafer said that it doesn't make a lot of sense financially, but Browder disagreed. He said the Starcraft II AI was very carefully designed so it can't cheat, since it doesn't know the player's location." Wish there was more on that aspect. The article is sort of vague and short. These kind of lists have about the same usefulness of others like "the 100 best songs of all time". They are for mindless herd animals to adjust their personal tastes so they can remain part of the herd. Everyone has their own tastes, making up such lists is absurd, the exercise of those insecure about what they enjoy doing without some kind of herd mentality "approval" of some kind. Or, it just represents which companies bribed the author the most.

#11: X-COM That's funny because I only recently fired this game up again and started playing it. It's been about 10 years since I played it. I remembered it as a lot of fun. Funny how time skews the memory. Once I started playing it again, I began remembering all the less than fun stuff about this game that had annoyed me before. The cheesy cheats the AI used (couple of examples: simply made you miss when shooting aliens, the mind control stuff), the incredibly poor mou
