WinFX library
You didn't say what type of skin...... so go back to the library, and read the Gallery Description, at the top. You'll find info, and links to the software needed.
Anti-Virus = Avast Home Edition. Firewall = Outpost Firewall Pro (has built-in spyware protection)
Yep... ObjectDock
I think I might just have to hit you....with something heavy and unforgiving... I have a 2-ton heavy thing, you can borrow.
the DesktopX Pro version (to make widgets) You don't need the pro version to make Widgets, you can do that with the Standard version. Pro is for Gadgets.
You don't need anything other than a grpahics editor to make wallpapers, and you have that. Object Desktop includes all these programs LINK ObjectDockPlus is not part of Object Desktop. BootSkin, and LogonStudio are free programs. Stardock doesn't have a ScreenSaver creation program, you'll have to get that elsewhere. (I would check out the Axialis website) Did I miss anything?
There's no reason you can't use WindowBlinds and AveDesk, is there?
I only have the serial number of OD That's all you need. In Stardock Central, go to Tools > Register Products > Select Object Desktop Subscription in the dropdown list > enter your email, and Serial number for ODNT > click the Update/Register button.
slow down your computer? Not normally, but you can occasionally run across a poorly made skin or DX theme, etc., that will bog things down. make your memory low? That depends on how much
Depends on the Docklet. Remove them one at a time to find the offender.
I'm afraid that question is over my head.... I don't know.
Sounds like Docklets. Just copy the Docklet folder(s) to the ObjectDockPlus\Docklets folder, and that should work.
1) How do I put a button on the status bar, the bottom one, that will launch an executable or system function like you can on the titlebar, There are no 'Statusbar buttons'. I seem to recall people placing WinAmp controls at the bottom of windows, in the past..... but that was via a plugin specifically for WinAMp controls, and nothing else. <br/
Quite a few things that used to work, no longer work on per-pixel skins.......
That's part of mormegil's Icon a Day icons. He posted a tutorial for this set HERE By x3, I'm guessing you mean Corel Draw X3 ..... well you're in luck, that's what mormegil used.
Why does everyone assume "skins" means WindowBlinds?
that gear that alot of you are using is really cool Could you be a little more vague? I am using corel. <br
LogonStudio is free. CursorXP is free (there is a Pro version) ObjectDock is free (there is a Plus version) BootSkin is free. Rainlendar is free. SysMetrix is free.
Forgot about that Bichur... and your link is correct.
(1) I have configured ObjectDock to always stay on top but it hides behind the windows taskbar. How do I correct this? IS the taskbar set to always on top also? (2) How do I get the system tray icons onto Obje
So check the email again Yep.... when you purchase a Stardock product, you are sent an email with instructions, serial number, and download links.
Doh! I completely missed General Options in the right click menu....
Right click tray icon > Theme Editor > (menubar)File > General Options > Startup Options tab > "Run Objectbar automatically on startup"
