Joe, have you taken your medication tody?

Get Back Loretta! .................... "The Beatles" reference.
oh.. And btw.. If this post is deleted then my point is proven to be correct Maybe you could explain, what exactly is your point?
I believe a lot of people have uploaded to the graphics section, not realizing they are making their work public domain. I have thought about starting a thread on this several times..............but I didn't want to wake any vultures. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powe
I will call you Betty, and you can call me Al.
Thanx for the correction Mike.
Are you looking for skins with uis1? You won't find it in all, if not most skins. If it's available it will be listed in the "Sub Design" drop down list.
The uis file will be found within the WindowBlinds skin folder. The WindowBlinds format is .wba, the .uis is much like an .ini file.
check = checked
Most WindowBlinds skins don't come with walls. For the few that do..........open the WB config panel.........under "Settings"........"Enhance Desktop Elements" Make sure "Apply any wallpaper supplied" is check.
I have a this strange hunch, we're about to find out.............
I've always wondered about that........thanx mig, and thanx Jafo, for asking.
some wallpaper artists also seem to be found of 3Dmax, and Bryce.
WindowBlinds doesn't slow my machine down. I haven't used DesktopX much, but when I did try it, I found some themes would slow it down a bit. Like the LCARS theme, there is so much going on, (it's too cool) the computer is busy.......... doing nothing.
The most popular in no particular order are: Paintshop Pro Photoshop The Gimp and others that slip my mind at the moment.......... ahh yes......... Fireworks Corel Draw (I think) and more I'm sure. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered b
ok Floon......... welcome to net.
Didn't really work did it? People will answer, when they have the time, if they know the answer. Redundant threads won't make them available any sooner. Patience is a plus, when asking for help. Jafo's right, you could have answered me in the same thread, where I asked. I guess I should have started yet another thread to reply to this one.
So DA profiting from copywrited material seems a little far fetched. Joe......Bakerstreet never said they were profiting.....he said they were 'benefitting from and distributing stolen copyrighted material'. I find a few of your statements very interesting too. Thise who state that it is definatly someone elses work actually still have some space to still upload it as long as it has been minipulated in some way. That's just plain BS...........I'm sic
ahhhhh........that makes sense, .......now I understand.
Why did you make a redundant thread 3 minutes after the first? https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?id=63689
I really don't understand why you would uninstall, just to upgrade.
WindowBlinds is primarily a windows skinner. There are several programs to alter your Desktop, and not all of them have skin libraries here. A few to check out, in no particular order...... HoverDesk Objectbar DesktopX Winstep There are oddles more.............
The image inside the zip file does NOT have to be a .bmp, .jpg will work just fine.
No Kinrik, it wasn't Crumby, it was Roach who set it up, and still maintains it. I wonder what ole' Roach is up to these days.............
I don't know anything that would help you, but would like to share this.............. When I "upgraded" W2k to XP, I had all sorts of weirdness. Some of it I wasn't even aware of, until I started over with a "clean" install of XP. XP is so different from the other OS's, upgrading and retaining your settings is not a good idea...IMHO Just something to consider. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/ima
